Post Tech help question...
Hopefully there's a few tech savy people here that can help me out...

I recorded some Halo 2 footage on a DVD-R, and I'm trying to figure out how I can rip and convert that off of the DVR-R and into a file that I would be able to host and display on the web... like a smaller wmv file, or something like that.

If somebody knows the answer, I will kiss them.

I've been looking through some programs on download.com. And, I've installed and uninstalled several until I gave up. I was hoping somebody knew specifically of one as I can't find one that does exactly what I need it to. I found one that will rip it to an avi, but the file is still huge, and it doesn't edit it down to the couple minutes I would want.

Tony - I think Adobe Premiere should do the trick.

 Wow... it's only $700!

http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/main.html

It does look pretty cool, though...

I'm trying bABA's suggestion now... that's only $30 if it works. [-o<

Ouch $700?

There is a cheaper version, called Adobe Premiere Elemetns, and you can download the trial for that.
