 Will Jeb run in 2008
25% of tonights little vino ridden arguement said no, the other 75% yes. So I'm putting it to the masses? Jeb and Colin were the two tsunami evaluators, and my mother has said from day one that Rove can orchestrate anything. Anyways, my parents and sister are sure Jeb will run in 2008. They mentioned his wife was litina as well. I think no. He'll wait 4 years, that back-to-back is too suspicious even for the USA. So will the Bush family beat out the Adam's family (John and John Quincy) to have the most men in the oval office?

I dont think so. Jeb is a family friend (actually, my grandfathers, but I met him once! teehe) But anyway. He isnt like the rest of them. Complete different from the other Bushies and more of a centerist than a conservative IMNSHO. Thats besides the point. I cant think of anything to say, other than no. I don't think he is interested.

I say no, but I suspect Jeb's son George P. Bush is a future President. He'll be the first President with anything but but an all Causcasion background.

Jeb is widely regarded as the most conservative and corrupt of the Bushes. Look up the Terri Schiavo case, or the fact that Florida is the only state that does not allow Gay Couples to adopt. He is going to run. He got tons of publicity from the hurricanes, tsunami visit, and now is introducing some Health Care plan that is supposedly going to receive massive Media Attention. Rove is one step ahead of everyone. Jeb is a crappy governor that got his brother to be President twice (200 election, + this year's underreported corrupt Florida voting machines where is was apparent by exit polls that Kerry had one by about a 1% but Bush ended up getting Fl by 4% which is more than highly suspicious). He is also responsible for denying blacks the right to vote, we have one of worst school systems in the country and so much more!

Oh, man. Let's hope not.
Speaking of the Bush family, though, Dubya's brother Marvin lives very close to here. I've actually met him before, and he's a completely nice guy. It also seemed like his political views were far less conservative than the rest of his family's.

What is this, a democracy or a monarchy?
"Jeb is the heir to the presidency, followed by Bush's nephew, Earl."
Personally, after what Bush does to this country by then, we will have a far more liberal president in the office. Right now I'm predicting Clinton.

It won't be Clinton. Although in utopia in '08, a woman COULD win the presidency, it isn't happening. Plus, for some reason, people don't like her. Sure, she won the Senate race in New York, but, there's a lot of animosity towards her - perhaps because of the way she handled Bill after Monica...

What?? Are you talking about Jeb Bush running for President in 2008?? The answer is No.. Chances are, it'll be John McCain, Rudolph Guliani for the Republicans and Hilary Clinto for the Democrats, OR That 1 Guy from Illinois running for President, OBama I think his name is with Hillary As Vice President.. Honestly and I know once again my comments will be read into and dissected as always, but I don't think the World is ready for a Black President.. I just don't think that will ever happen i our lifetime and if it did, he's be Assasinated the moment he stepped foot out of the White House.. Some may think that sounds cruel, but it's true and it's a cruel world we live in folks.. We'll see a Woman President before we see a Black President for sure...

Barack Obama would be stupid to give him his place in Congress to run.
The country won't vote for a black man as President or Vice President in 2008...not gonna happen.
And this Hillary talk is just crazy, she won;t win either. Richardson is a better choice of a candidated for the democrats, but like after the loss in 2000 they are looking around with no clear candidate. They need to get their act together.

It would be anthema to the American Way to allow a family dynasty to rule the USA. You might as well just reinstate the old corrupt monarchy.
Same thing would've happened to the other Kennedys had JFK completed his two terms. The Dems would've told Bobby to step aside for some new face. And to this day, no other Kennedy has ever come even THIS close to a presidential bid.
Besides, after this current debacle, the American people would have to be clinically insane to elect another Bush.

That's exactly what we were talking about (along with the tsunami visit and his wife) last night. Yeah, it all makes sense, but no, I still think back-to-back is too suspicious. I think he'll run, but more liekly in 2012. They'll engineer a step-down so that he doesn't have to wait 8 years (he'll be too old). They'll have whoever is in office step down because his wife has cancer or something so touching that people won't realive the slip. Even papa and baby had one president in between. I think he might run, but definately not in 2008. Its just too obvious. Meh, all three of them seem to think at this point it doesn't matter. Bush is gaining in popularity right now (he did get the popular vote in the generals) so whose to say the support won't keep climbing to the point where they want Jeb in right away?

This all rests on an assumption that the Bush family sole purpose for existance is to usurp all power in the U.S., right?

Nah. I don't think there are families that don't want to be poltical. Chelsea Clinton, no dooubt you'lll hear from her, etc. The Kennedys, lots of families. I don't think he'll run, but this is more of a theoretical question that should he run in 2008, would the U.S. population vote for him or not. Would they vote for him because they like what's been going on, etc, or would they not, because back-to-back presidencies from the same family will never happen. Yes, its assuming he wants to run, and I kind of think he does. Remember when George first won and Barbara let slip she always thought Jeb would be the one to get to the oval office, and not W (whom she said she didn't even envision being the president of the pta). I just think they won't do it in 2008 because they're too smart for that (that's the last time a say smart when referring to this group). Its too transparent of a move.
Hey, if my family thought we could handle the country the best, and really know where we wanted to take it, and my dad and sister had already been presidents, sure I would run. I just wouldn't do it right after my sister stepped down. On the contrary, my family seems to think at this point as long as the last name is Bush, he'll get the popular vote.

Good.
He won't run in 2008 and I doubt he will ever run. And even if he does, there's no guarantee that he will survive the porimaries, let alone win the presidency. People won't give him a free pass, just 'cause he's a Bush.
It's not as if Teddy Kennedy's presidential bid went anywhere.

The Terri Shiavo case sucks ASS. Please dont talk about it. I have listened to it since I was a fucking baby. (Its going on like ten miles away from me, unfortunately) EVERYDAY. I dont like the law he passed, but other than that he is a fine governer... better than anyone else.
I really do not think he will run. I almost feel like I know him, even though I only got a handshake outta him. From what everyone I know says, he wont run because he doesn't want to. That seems to be the concensus.

The Bushes should be presidents for the next 40 years or so. That will help lower the standard of living in this country. Go Jeb and keep sending those high paying jobs to China and India \:D/
The American in me dislikes any Bush but the Indian in me loves GW.
Jeb, Dub, Cub and whatever Bush is what we need more of [-o<
