LOL. Most probably thunders would just surrender even without playing. On a serious note hopefully thunder wins this one. Hate to see lefraud and Dflop win one together.

If we had a competent commissioner flops wouldn't even be a problem. Now flopping is the best way to stop people in the paint. It's a sad world.

The referee has no choice but to call a foul. It's not like they are watching stuff in slow motion. If it looks like a foul then it probably was.

Well, a referee has to make a judgement call on whether it was a charge or a block. 90% of them could go either way.

Foa, that's how you sing the national anthem. That was A+ level there.
Second, the Thunder once again come from behind and right out the other team who gets a dangerous early lead only to trounce them at the finish line. I'm liking this.
Westbrook did a great job even though his actual fg weren't falling and Durant was smooth with his shots. It's really nice to see him just pull up and jump and swoosh.

Magnus wrote: It wasn't just his offense. Miamis defense just fell apart. Wade couldn't guard Westbrook. And the difference in OKC defense in the 2nd half was Miami stopped hitting their shots. But they still had solid looks and not that highly contested of shots. In fact, Miami had it cut down to 5 pts in the 4th quarter but couldnt make any stops on defense. If their defense was up to par, I think they make it a 50/50 game in the last minute that goes either way.
Miami to me has to come out aggressive from the get-go. They need to put Thunders big men in foul trouble early on. They were too content in just shooting jumpers and while that did build them their lead, that strategy won't work for a full game. I would say some of that is OKC's depth. They are a much deeper team than Miami and can really wear them out through the course of the game.

Harden didn't even play half the game and only got 5 points, and they still won.

 Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
He played well but you cant be laying an egg in the first quarter like that. I think it was van Grundy who brought up that this has happened 3x in a row now. They need to show up and either take better shots or finish them. Also, I think the missed free throws came back to bite them as well. 'twas a bummer but they'll win at least one on the road. This may go 7 games yet.

 Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
Yeah, I don't understand how they fall behind by so much in the first quarter every game. This isn't even just a post-season thing. I went to a Sixers game against Thunder in the regular season and they had at least a 10+ point advantage at the half. But they (obviously) came back. They can't be doing that.
And the lack of a foul on that final play was bogus. It should have went into OT.
Or Brooks should have waited like 3 extra seconds to call that timeout (around 50 seconds left) because Westbrook made a sick half-court 3-pointer, haha.
BTW, Kevin Durant is...so good.

 Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
I agree that Durant needs to watch his fouling. A couple of his fouls were just boneheaded.

Could easily be a reverse of last year's final in term of how each game is played out.

 Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
Durant needs to stay out of foul trouble for sure. It's becoming a big issue.
I still feel pretty confident in OKC taking this, but it will definitely have to start with Game 4. I see them winning 4, 6 and 7. I have a hard time seeing them win 3 in a row.

 Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
Didn't we have a hard time seeing them win 4 over the Spurs? It ain't over but if they are going to keep missing free throws the way they've been doing then this series may not even get back to OKC.
Also, someone brought up on the radio that Lebron ended up with 1 foul in like 43 minutes last night. I'm not complaining but c'mon. Fouling the 3 point shooters isn't smart either. Once...maybe but twice is dumb. Oh, and Perkins as the 3rd leading scorer for the night won't cut it either.
I didn't even watch the 3rd quarter yesterday since I was playing D3, but I'm glad I didn't now knowing they were up 10 after the fact. I know it's a game of runs but if you got a lead on the road you need to keep pressing them.
