Of all the Wrestlemanias I've seen, that was one of them. All 675 hours of it.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
The fact they muted the crowd and then just didnt show any crowd shots after his win was just plain BAD

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
I liked it more than last year. The three main events were underwhelming but the undercard made up for it.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Thoughts:
>The IC Ladder Match was alright, though quite unmemorable with the exception of Zack Ryder's refreshing win. Hopefully he doesn't drop the title on Raw tonight or at the next PPV.
>Jericho/Styles was good, as expected, but to be honest, I'm growing a bit tired of their one-on-one bouts. And seeing Styles lose in his WM debut was rather disappointing.
>New Day/League of Nations was pretty average. There was little going on here that hasn't been seen over the last several weeks involving both teams. It just felt like filler once Austin/Michaels/Foley came out (which was pretty awesome).
>Brock/Ambrose was the most disappointing match for me. I went into it expecting it to, possibly, be the highlight of WM this year, but it... just... wasn't. It was barely 10 minutes long, was hardly a street fight, and had no memorable moments. And to top it off, Ambrose losses the big one yet again.
>The Diva's Women's Championship was the match of the night. All three women delivered one of their strongest matches, especially since coming from NXT. The match was given the proper build up, and they delivered. It was full of energy, technicality, and provided a number of great moments throughout its nearly 20 minute time. I was rooting for Sasha, as most were, but Charlotte really shined.
>Undertaker/Shane started off very slow and was quite boring for awhile, but once they went outside the cell it became more of a street fight than the actual street fight of the night. Shane leaping off the cell was crazy, especially for his age; and he seemed to land quite hard as well. I figured he'd just jump from half-way up the cell, but nope! I'm glad Taker won, since he's my all-time favorite, but I was also excited for a Shane victory to see if it was the beginning of WWE changing up its stale product.
>The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale was dull, but at least Baron Corbin won it. I'm a fan of his, and hope he makes the transition to WWE soon after this. Sources are saying he's now apart of the WWE roster, but I'll wait and see.
>The Rock was electrifying, and it's always great to see him, but those poor Wyatts. They weren't even included in a WM match, and still had to suffer further by getting their asses kicked anyway. This could have been a real moment for Bray Wyatt, but as usual, comes out looking weak once again.
>HHH/Reigns was surprisingly mediocre. I was almost certain they'd deliver a hell of a match with all the lukewarm/negative reception the match had been receiving. But in the end, it was very underwhelming with the only highlight involving Stephanie.
Overall... WM32 was solid, but pretty underwhelming. It pretty much went as expected without including Bryan/Cena/Rollins/Orton this year.

JBL and Cole: "This post-WM crowd is very vocal; they have a lot of passion, and may boo for the guys they usually cheer".
Uhh... yeah, you're not spinning the overwhelming boos Reigns is going to receive when he comes out tonight guys.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Pre-Show: The Divas match was surprisingly fun for a match that nobody was looking forward to. Originally I felt bad that Kalisto and Ryback got moved to preshow, then the match happened and was glad for it, poor match with the same ending as ADR one. Dudleys and Usos was fine
Intercontinental title: Last year's was a little more stacked but this was still fun, happy to see Zack Daddy win, though I surprisingly guessed it ahead of time
Y2J vs Styles - really good singles match, surprised they made Jericho win but Styles will be fine
The New Day vs League of Nations - it was fine but these guys have fought so much lately that this being a non title match made it a little underwhelming, glad to see LON get much needed win even if it was just a set up to get stunner'd
Divas title triple threat - fantastic match that proved what they are capable of on main level. My only criticism is making Flair interfere. I though it was the right moment to make Charlotte win clean to help establish how impressive her Woman's Championship win is
Brock vs Ambrose - disappointment of the night. I was expecting it to get street fight-ier like going in the crowd or backstage rather than the chairs spot. I wasn't loving this feud in the build-up either. Maybe how hot Brock was in 2015 always had an expiry date
Undertaker vs Shane - match of the night for me, I was happy with the storytelling, how they made Shane threatening to him (taking away his air, submission, etc.) and the big spots
Andre the Giant Battle Royale - It is what it is. Shaq cameo was cool and happy to see Corbin win
The Rock - I knew that when it got revealed he was having a "match" it would be some quick thing, but fun moment anyways. I was hoping Rollins would come out after Cena, but they will save his retur
Triple H vs Roman Reigns - Somewhat of a disappointment and a worse match than Ambrose/HHH. Stephanie getting speared was the most memorable moment.
Overall - pretty awesome

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Really cool debuts tonight by Crews, Corbin and Enzo & Cass, and I'm glad Bayley didn't debut at the most obvious moment ever, I want it to be a surprise when her music hits
Awesome fatal four way, love Cesaro. I'm glad they gave Styles the push, I was expecting Jericho... so will Roman transition to heel?

Biggestgeekever wrote: Of all the Wrestlemanias I've seen, that was one of them. All 675 hours of it. Honestly. A five hour Wrestlemania NOT EVEN INCLUDING THE PRE-SHOW is just ridiculous. They could have easily fit that into a concise three-hour spectacle. So glad I didn't have to sit through it all. -I'm done with multi-man ladder matches. No story is told, it's just one big spot-fest. One or two big spots are great, but when the match looks choreographed, that's not good. A good wrestling match should make you forget that you're watching something fake. And the surprise win was erased one night later. Looks like the IC title is back to meaning not much of anything. -I've lost interest in Y2J and AJ Styles. I like both guys, but they took way too much steam out of the feud. And say what you want about Triple H's sense of wrestling, but any sense he has will always be overshadowed by Vince (and probably H's own) need to bury talent that isn't WWE-born. No other reason to constantly bury Styles. The losses were meant to build to a big Mania win. (EDIT: More on his RAW win later.) -Austin, Foley and HBK were fun to see, but... I'm tired of the Mania cameos all the time now. -Dean Ambrose loses again. What a shock. So they built over a month of Lesnar constantly getting the better of loser Dean and what happens? Dean loses. His only way of gaining an upper hand is a low blow. The match devalued Brock a bit by having him face a guy that WWE has pushed well below his own worth, and it really hurt Dean, who didn't even look good by surviving so much assault before losing. They could have at least put him through the wringer before he lost. A five hour show could have given us at least a 20 minute match. -The women stole the show... despite WWE's night-long insistence on fucking the fans. Sasha Banks deserved that moment in the spotlight and they didn't give it to her. A sad waste. But they still put on a solid match. It's too bad the rest of the show sucked so that the praise given to it wasn't a complete waste though. It's hard for a diamond to shine through a mountain of shit. -I never bought Shane beating Taker, but anyone who thought it was possible must have felt deep sadness when it was revealed this wouldn't headline. I don't even get this feud now really. Kudos to Shane for the dive off the cell. He can't wrestle but he sure puts himself on the line. But beyond that, a baffling feud was made all the more baffling by this match. But man. It's a true testament to Shane McMahon that he got so many amazing crowd reactions, even facing The Undertaker. There was no guarantee people would react to Shane the way they have since his return, but it was consistent every week. -I have no care in the world for their "Let's get these guys a paycheck" battle royale. It did nothing for Cesaro and nothing for Big Show. So what's the point in Baron Corbin winning? -The less said about the main event, the better. Roman Reigns is a two-year-long project of WWE, since their last failed attempt at pushing a heel as a babyface (Batista in 2014). It didn't work. It won't work. It worked very, very briefly, thanks to a bunch of worlds aligning in the right place when Reigns won the WWE Title on RAW a few months ago. That cannot be replicated or expanded upon. It's over and done with. They did what they wanted, they got the reaction they deserved, and now it's a matter of whether they'll move on or continue down the wrong path.

Brie Bella retired after the WM match, but they kept it on the low to the media until the storyline happens on Total Divas

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
So... The Authority is definitely screwing AJ Styles on Monday and saying the Shane-run RAW last week was meaningless, right? I just don't get why they would thrust him into the title picture so suddenly.
Although it wasn't said when the match would take place.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Styles and Reigns had a Smackdown promo so I'm assuming it sticks as Payback main event
I'm thinking Reigns is a real heel by the end of the feud. Just giving it a little transition time when he can say I'm neither a bad guy or a good guy until then

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Yes, tragic loss; such an over-the-top, barrier-breaking talent. She had a rough patch after WWE, but was clearly working hard to better her life in more recent years. She deserves her long overdue Hall of Fame induction. And this picture here

Well it's on wwe.com now, so I'm not gonna use spoiler tags. Finn Balor will probably be on Raw within a month. Maybe he and AJ face Gallows/Anderson at Extreme Rules?

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Man, I thought the Mania main event was a colossal fuck up, but I really have no idea what they're doing with Reigns and Styles. Reigns doing his "I'm not a good guy" shtick is horrid. That doesn't solve anything. Meanwhile The Bullet Club, despite the pops, are a heel team and are booked as such, so having them with Styles is veering him towards heel territory, which he isn't in this feud and shouldn't be.
I would assume they'll end up costing Styles the title on Sunday, though I originally hoped they would team up with Reigns as a proper heel stable, but that won't happen after all the beatdowns.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Yeah they'll probably turn on AJ this Sunday, but then win the Chicago crowd back by taking out Roman too. I'm feeling like Styles' big push was mostly just to get them over right away. Maybe AJ Styles gets some back up from a certain former NXT champ at Extreme Rules? That would be money.

Enzo sure took a nasty spill tonight - enough for medical to end the match...
