Also wtf is going on in the divas division.

Just let fucking Sasha take the belt and run with it. I cant believe creative is killing her by making her stay with team bad.

Post Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
I feel like the Paige turn messed up the divas course. When Charlotte and Nikki were feuding it was all about competition and proving they're the champion. Nikki didn't need a reason to hate Charlotte beyond wanting to beat her. The story was mostly the matches and it peaked in them. The problem with Charlotte vs Paige and heel Paige overall is it was from the old school catfight playbook. It was more about the promos and hatred built outside of matches. Their SS match was slimy and ugly and the belt felt secondary. It changed the whole focus away from the competition. There is room for that type of feud but I don't think it should have been now, or it should have been Paige and Becky not a title match. TLC cycle has been continued with more roll up finishes, more bitchiness, and more of the behaviour from before the DR. Basically the movement towards competitive athletic divas division is dying out fast in place of stories like PCB self immolating, that all women hate each other is now the story not the fight to be no 1

I just don't know how Sasha can go from having the best women's match in wwe history and an epic Iron Man match.... To 4 minute matches against Brie Bella

What kind of fuckery is this?

The divas division dilemma is simple: The McMahons don't believe in them. NXT is the crazy experimental promotion that works because it's not WWE even if it is. But RAW and Smackdown are the same as they always were and will not change.

And it pains me to see it.

Sasha is just a master in the ring and plays the crowd like few other can.

Remember when she was getting cheered in the iron man? What did she do? She made an 8yo cry. THAT IS GENIUS.

Yet she's fighting Brie Bella.... Nt even the important Bella.

Fuck you Vince

I like that move for Roman cause all these times he's reacted to bad things happening with this smile on his face like he doesn't care cause he's getting his money and the top spot one day, showing genuine rage makes him more relatable. Great segment and overall final match, Sheamus taking so much visible damage helped sell it as the most physical match of the year. I knew something was going to happen cause it ended like 12 minutes before the end of my torrent, but I thought it was going to be Cena. Lol @ poor King Barrett after never getting in matches, not being important enough to be with Del Rio and Rusev rush out to help Sheamus, and it's not because he wasn't there, the four of them were in a segment on the kickoff. The Michelle Williams of the League of Nations

The tag title match and the Kalisto spot was awesome, Ambrose and Owens was good, I thought it was a better Charlotte Paige match this time too, I liked Charlotte's Flair Flop

Best Raw of the year, I had a feeling Reigns was going to win when they said he'd be on ESPN but that match and Vince and Steph throughout the night were on point. ECW vs Wyatts tore the roof off also

Make HHH win the Royal Rumble and face Reigns for the belt. I think with Brock the fans would cheer for him too much. Cena would fit their plans of making fans cheer for Reigns but Cena/Undertaker is too good to pass up for the plan to fill Cowboys Stadium

I think it's too early to say Roman Reigns is over with the crowd. It depends on where this goes and how he fares when not embroiled in a feud with The Authority. He's not Austin. This can't and won't be McMahon v. Austin 2. When on a big stage, Triple H often gets the better crowd reaction, even when playing the heel. I don't think that will change if their encounter happens at Wrestlemania. The only thing that may work is if Triple H were to win the title himself before Mania. That may raise the ire of fans if they feel like they must sit through another Triple H title run. But there's no reason for him to be champion either.

Actually, if I could make an apt comparison, it feels like when Randy Orton was turned face in 2004. The crowds cheered because it was against Triple H and Evolution at the time, but there wasn't enough effort made in when Orton worked on his own and he drowned after that until turning heel in 2005.

Eh, I'm half with you. Reigns is certainly over with the Cena fanbase though, and I think thats all that matters to Vince. The rest of us will continue to like him doing badass power stuff and dislike everything else. :funny:

So I originally had Lesnar v Cena v Rollins at the Rumble as my match of the year, and I still think its a 5 star classic. After rewatching all my favs though, Bailey and Sasha in Brooklyn is the winner. So much emotion in that match. And it holds up despite already knowing all the big moments.

I probably am repeating myself, but I love watching The New Day. Talk about getting the right guys paired with the right gimmick and hitting a home run. WWE will undoubtedly fuck them up by either overexposure or changing the dynamic, but as they are now, The New Day is probably the only part I'll definitely watch every week.

I'm only caught up to the Super Smackdown last week, but some things I find annoying...

- Can the League of Nations just outnumber him and kick Roman Reigns ass for once? Every time he comes out, he single handily beats them them all, ruining any momentum the League of Nations has to look strong

- The three divas who wrestle the most right now it feels like, are Charlotte, Becky and Brie Bella. Why Brie Bella?

It's early but I don't really like Reigns title reign the first 2 Raws so far. Just feels like something's missing in terms of it being a big deal that Roman has the belt now.

The Royal Rumble seems pretty unpredictable this year. I think it could be HHH, Cena, Lesnar or even Roman Reigns himself when the Authority decides he has to defend the title in it. It's hard to imagine Lesnar not winning if he's entered and they desperately need the fans to cheer the winner this year, but will they really risk ending Wrestlemania with all of Cowboys stadium booing Reigns cause he just pinned Brock clean?

So HHH is gonna win the rumble? I was wondering how theyd pull of Roman v HHH for the title at Mania. Not sure I like it though as it requires us to go along with the "Roman Reigns is Daniel Bryan" storyline.

Now Cena is gonna be out for Wrestlemania too! That ruins their main event of him v Taker. I imagine Vinny Mac is filling out a blank check for The Rock right now.. What else can he do? Risk crippling Daniel Bryan or Austin? Beg CM Punk? Its a sticky situation for sure.

What a disaster but this is a good opportunity for the new generation to take over. Give Kevin Owens a Lesnar or Undertaker match

Deadman vs Demon maybe? Reigns v HHH definitely gets bumped into the main event. Owens, Ambrose and Wyatt are the only guys left for Brock.
