 Re: 2008 NFL Discussion
The Steelers win and are going to the Super Bowl.
This will be a fun one to watch because of interesting trivia between both teams.
This the Cardinals first trip to the Super Bowl, becoming the 6th to last team to do so.
And, if the Steelers win, they will officially have the most Super Bowl wins (with 6).

 Re: 2008 NFL Discussion
Meh I don't want the Steelers to win the Superbowl... it'd just feel sort of expected and uneventful, with their last win not too long ago
Go Cards!!!

 Re: 2008 NFL Discussion
Either I missed the celebration or CBS desperately wanted to get The Mentalist going. Forget covering the celebration or having the CBS guys saying goodbye and appreciating their crew for a hard year's work, we must get to Simon Baker!
Anyways at least the NFL got half of the matchup they probably wanted even though the Ravens/Cardinals would've been a pretty damn good game. This one should still be a good one though. There sure as hell won't be a blow out and with the way the Cards have been playing (and especially after the SB last year) they've got more than a shot. I just hope they don't mind that 95% of the stadium is going to be made up Steelers fans.

Do they need the Eagles in the Superbowl? Ridiculous. Even more pathetic than the Delay of Game in the Chargers game. Officiating has to change, dammit!!
The NFL has become a laughing stock for some of the rulings this year its not the officiating its a league rule. The refs cant exactly break the rule They desperately have to address what is reviewable and what not Joke, Any play shoudl be reviewable if a coach wants to spend a challenge/timeout.

I see both WC teams winning right now. I can't see how Arizona can win a game. Arizona is 6-2 at home and Atlanta has a weak defense. I think this will be a very fun game to watch with lots of offense. They only beat one winning team at home and that was Dallas. The other 5 wins came against some bad teams. go Arizona! go Arizona!

lol This could potentially be a revenge game for Whisenhunt. Tomlin got the job over him. Even though his offense won the Steelers their SB.
