 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Roman Reigns will be WWE world heavyweight champion within a month. I'm calling it now. Whether we like it or not, it's time for Rollins to drop the belt, and with Cena gone, no one is ready for that spot other than Reigns.

went to Hell in a Cell last night live, it was fun
Instead of the title match, i'm thinking Reigns and Undertaker would be part of a Survivor Series-style elimination match against the Wyatts. Rollins-Sheamus for the title?

Agree on it leading to Survivor Series match. Not sure about Reigns since he might be in WWE title picture and I think it's time to end all Bray Wyatt feuding for him, but I bet Kane is on Undertaker's team, I was surprised when he didn't run out to save Taker last night. Since Orton/Ambrose were supposed to have a HIAC match against Wyatts I'd bet they were pencilled in to be in that match too, probably just Ambrose now. Or do they include Dudleys since with Taker and Kane it'd be getting close to a full team of Attitude era guys. Dudleys will obviously be in a tables match for the title at the TLC PPV, so not fighting New Day for a month could be a needed break

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Pre show - Neville/Cesaro/Ziggler vs Sheamus/BNB/Rusev: This match happening on Raw took a little of the shine off but I still enjoyed it, just a lot of in ring talent in this one and they're overqualified for pre show match. I say keep Neville and Cesaro and Sheamus and BNB together, Neville and Cesaro look like future tag champs and maybe BNB could be Sheamus back-up muscle when he cashes in
John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio - I wasn't watching when Del Rio was in WWE so he was brand new to me, I thought it wasn't that great of a match considering the quality of Cena US Open challenges, and ended on weak finisher (I suspect it's because they didn't want to make Cena tap out? May as well just roll him up at that point), but whatever. My biggest impression of Del Rio is his body looks impressive. Those pecs are like Paige's boobs
Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt - Awesome match, they used the weapons really well, the spear through the table was especially great. Both the guys ability to sell the match emotionally helped. Reigns has had several great PPVs matches this year (Bryan at Fast Lane, Lesnar at WM, Big Show at Extreme Rules, Bray at HIAC). On the topic of Bray he gave a promo in the kick off show that was really interesting for him, talking about how he's trapped in a cell in his own head, I thought that was a vulnerability and self-loathing they hadn't shown the Bray character show much. Overall Roman Reigns and Bray are at the top of my list of guys they should put the WWE title on, instead of a guy like Sheamus
New Day vs Dudleys - I've been more impressed by Dudleys matches in the last few weeks than when they first came back and this one was pretty good, I'm glad it didn't end on ref DQ'ing Bubba, even if it was still a non clean-ish win
Charlotte vs Nikki - I loved this match, really physical for a divas match and it was a great decision to leave everyone else backstage and let it be a real match. Charlotte with the blood on her face was so intense. She's such a good actress which makes her a scary complete package when considering the in ring skills and look. This match was not any less exciting before or during the match than the mens singles ones, there's a reason they put Ryback and Owens 2nd last because it was legit the least interesting. Charlotte and Nikki last two PPVs is a sign of Divas Revolution is working
Rollins vs Kane - Not as good as the Sting one, Kane is just too slow and lumbering and getting their hands on each other in the lumberjack match hurt this one a bit. But still had some nice moments and because Kane winning the title for 5 minutes or a day before Sheamus cash-in was in play, in moments like Kane hitting the chokeslam there was a real chance of him winning
Owens vs Ryback - Not impressive, booked at the worst time of night to be exciting, and looks like the announcers missed an eye poke to end the match. The best night for this feud was a Smackdown a few weeks ago when they had the IC title match, when ended in Owens intentionally getting counted out and Ryback then going beast mode on him. This feud looking good by Smackdown standards not PPV standards is how I'd describe it.
Lesnar vs Undertaker - What can you say? This is why wrestling PPVs are great. Both these guys are so good, enjoyed the exposed boards ending and Undertaker kicking out of a bunch of stuff beforehand. The Undertaker-Wyatts thing at the end was good also.

I feel Taker and Lesnar are real life bffs.
They have such an awesome chemestry when Taker isn't half dead.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
That is about as devastating a blow to WWE as you can get. Seth Rollins has been the glue holding everything together for over a year.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Rollins has been the 2nd most important guy in the company since the devastating losses of Punk and Bryan in early 2014. He's grown a bit stale on the mic lately, but I can't imagine how Raw is gonna fill 3 hours without him.
Reigns and Rollins had been built up so great. A true mega main event without legacy guys hasn't happened in a very long time. Now we are in the same territory as Rumble 15, where Reigns winning will feel obvious and undeserved. Therefore I'm gonna make a prediction and say Ambrose turns heel at Survivor Series and walks away with the belt.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
If Reigns was going to beat Rollins anyways, I can't imagine this changes things enough to not give the title to Reigns. Giving Sheamus the title when they have no Cena, Lesnar, Orton or Rollins, would be a ratings mess.
I do think Reigns-Ambrose will be a thing. On Raw they made Seth yell at Ambrose that he's nothing but Reigns backup and was 3rd wheel on the Shield. That to me feels like set-up to Ambrose getting restless with being sub-Reigns. But maybe they're being set up for Wrestlemania or something

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
This is a major blow, indeed, especially if Rollins is out until after WrestleMania. I don't believe Reigns and Ambrose can support the company for the next 6 months, and that's all they have at the moment.
Cesaro should receive the much deserved push he needs, and Ziggler should end his feud with Breeze and enter the main event picture, too. Perhaps they can give Wyatt some time to shine after his renewed feud with Undertaker, though that's probably unlikely given the Wyatt family have recently reunited...
Otherwise... they'll either need to negotiate with Lesnar to be included on more shows, or even go back to relying on Cena again by bringing him back from his time off.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
I can't WWE just lost its only main eventer available. Not only that but he was THE best performer inover a year.
Poor WWE, next few weeks will be quite interesting since this pretty much changes everything that was set in stone for WM.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
If somehow Reigns and Ambrose were pushed into the main-event picture for the title, can they really go with Ambrose as the heel? I know he would be great as a top heel, but it'll be WM31 all over again if they push Reigns as a top face, especially against the cooler Ambrose.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
I think the Authority needs a new heel leader. Ideas
- Sheamus cashes in thanks to having full corporate muscle behind him: HHH, Bad News Barrett, Big Show, etc. They become the big bad faction for a while for Reigns and Ambrose to overcome. Reigns and Ambrose possibly have tension started though if they faced off in the Finals of Survivor Series (Reigns first title reign wouldn't last 5 minutes, so I say Ambrose winning the Final and Sheamus stealing it would be more likely)
- Dean Ambrose turns on Roman Reigns at Survivor Series and becomes new corporate lapdog, leading to long term Reigns and Ambrose feud
- Roman Reigns goes evil and becomes new Corporate powerhouse, leading both Dean to feud him, and eventually setting up a face Cena-heel Reigns feud

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
I thought about this and while it's a blow to WWE and a setback for Rollins, this may end up benefiting Rollins in the long-term as I think he needed to change things up soon or he'd become stale.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Nice ending to Raw tonight.
I wasn't expecting Taker and Kane to show up in person until Survivor Series.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Nice ending but should have saved their appearance for off-camera for the London audience. It felt a bit deflating to the whole angle that they laid out the Wyatts at the end of RAW, and now at Survivor Series, they face only two members? But they just laid out all four of them. So how is that a big deal?
And it felt deflated from the start since this is just a rehash of their feud from earlier this year when Undertaker looked amazing against Wyatt at Mania.
I am curious who Undertaker will face at Mania in 2016. I keep hearing Cena but that's been threatened for almost ten years and never happens. Like Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan. And I'm not sure how they would do it, unless Cena turned heel. Listening to his "rally the troops, ignore the haters" promos, drumming up interest for Hustle, Loyalty, Respect Versus The Phenom, will be anti-climactic without the streak in play.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
The Rock is out for Wrestlemania, based on insurance issues with his film commitments. Added to no Rollins and Orton and it will be hard for WWE to sell this as the mother of all WMs in Cowboys stadium

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
Austin.
He's said many times he isn't interested in wrestling ever again, but he'd be a bigger draw than anyone else for the event. If Vince can convince him to get in the ring one more time, against Lesnar, they've sold the event.
And if Austin really doesn't want to, though, then Vince should at least have him involved in the event as a guest referee or something. He has to be there.

 Re: Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH)
I kind of don't want Austin to wrestle again. It's so rare for a wrestler to stay away from the ring, and he's done it since 2003. Plus, what if it sucks? Then it tarnishes the career.

Did WWE seriously end RAW with the divas? And it wasn't terrible. It's been done a billion times, but it was nice to see it with the women.
