Well, it is clear you are smart enough to understand. Sorry. But I am now leaving as the Games are over and I don't want to talk to you.

And Boston fans never show up when their teams lose, only when the win. So I don't expect any of them to show up tonight to comment. Or maybe they just didn't watch the game, and then....Sure & NOT!

Post Re: NHL 2010-2011 Season
3 Questions, for Anyone, who wants to talk sports.

1 - Which goalie will play better/throw a shut-out in Game 6, as I think both are able to, based on play this series.

2 - Could Thomas have stopped that shot. As it was going wide and had to bounce to the other side, should he have moved faster to the other side of the goal? Or does he just come too far out of the net. As Luongo said, it is an easy save if you are staying in the goalie area.

3 - How to rate Thomas in this series. Has Played Great but has given up 3 very questionable goals. In Game 1 and 2, too far out of the net and gives up goals with 18 seconds left in Game 1, and just 12 seconds into Game 2. Then Tonight, Beaten on that goal.

So 3 Questionable Goals in the 3 Boston Losses?

Who gets Conn Smythe?

Think another good Luengo win gives him the Conn Smythe, and another shut-out or 1 goal game, makes it an easy choice.

Especially since series would be over 4-0 or 4-1 already, with the Bruins winning easy!

Game 1: BOS 0, VAN 1 > Luengo Shutout
Game 2: BOS 2, VAN 3 > Luengo Beats Thomas in O/T
Game 3: VAN 1, BOS 8 > Bad Luengo Game > But 1 Bad Game Shouldn't take away from 2 Shutouts, so far.
Game 4: VAN 0, BOS 4 > Average Luengo Game (Remember Thomas Gave up 3 in Game 2, to even out this game)
Game 5: BOS 0, VAN 1 > Luengo Shutout

PS. Also, What is the shut-out record in the playoff series?

Well then, here is a recap, if say the Canucks win with 1 more game with a Shutout....

Canucks

Luongo gets 3 shutouts in Finals - a record!

Canucks get the Stanley Cup Championship

Bruins

Thomas gets Conn Smythe (per others, not me)

Bruins misses out on a Stanley Cup Championship for, I think, the 39 straight year. Yup, 0 for 39.

Thomas is the Goat of the series, as he gives up bad game winning goals in Game 1, 2 and 5. (So great his agressiveness had made some extra saves, but that same agressiveness has taken him to far out of the Goal, on those 3 Losses.) And even Luongo commented on Thomas allowing a soft game winning goal, in the very important Game 5.

That was classic Bruins hockey. Physical, defensive, crisp passing, and making goaltenders look bad. That will obviously need to continue heading into Game 5. They played well in the first two at Vancouver, but it has completely flipped around in the last two. They have an extra spring in their skates. Vancouver meanwhile has looked like they're shellshocked. How do the Bruins lose Nathan Horton and manage to outscore Vancouver 12-1 in his absence?

And the other big difference - Thomas is playing out of his fucking mind. Luongo meanwhile might not even get the start in Game 5 (though I think he will). He hasn't even looked close to being the goaltender he was in the first two games.
It's a series now.

In reading some posts, I think yours shows how amazing Luongo was, imagine going from 2 horrible games, to maybe being pulled from a Game 5 start, to then throwing an amazing shutout in the all important game 5.

And I am man enough to admit, that I had tears in my eyes, as the shutout was winding down. It was such a thing of beauty. I was chanting Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!, Luongo!

Game 6 ToNight! Wonder which team will do more hitting tonight?

As in Game 5, I think the Canucks were charged up by the Bruins hit and penalities at the end of Game 4. But don't think it will carry into Game 6, so I expect Bruins to hit more in Game 6.

But again, which goalie will make more mistakes and cost their team the win/Cup.

Not sure why Thomas was going for the body check there...

Bruins coughed it up. The game was winnable and they let it slip away.

At this point the Bruins should just go after Burrows' head and do what the NHL should've done yesterday. They need to do something to shake up the series.

So sick of the F'ing Boston Goons! Hopefully someone will take the head of a cheap shot Boston player.

Beckett and Lester hit 5 Yankees in 2 games.

Bruins might have hurt a guy tonight, with a cheap shot into boards. (Still waiting on info to be released - Is that cause it is bad)

Bruins run hard into goalie. Cheap ass play.

If the Canucks don't get back into game, hope they send a goon into the game and TAKE A RUN INTO THOMAS! HITTING HIM AS HARD AS THEY CAN.

PS. Also, notice the Bruins haven't scored since 1st period, so still counting on a Game 7 Shut-Out by Luongo to win the Cup. That would be Priceless!

Congrats Bruins just scored on a 5-3! Wow! BUT OF COURSE CHEAP SHOT BOSTON EVEN SLASHES ON THE GOAL SCORE

Hopefully it is true that the NHL is reviewing this player and Bruin player might get suspended!

>>> Vancouver captain Henrik Sedin was told by one of the referees that Raymond lost his edge, and that's why no penalty was called. The Canucks were reportedly furious that nothing was called.

BS. You can see the Bruin player riding the player into the board the whole way, not letting up at all...and even pushing into the hit. Based on his head being down and straight, this is just as bad to any hit to the head, as I knew as soon as it happened, a major injury happened!

and is just as bad as the Rome hit...especially since there was no reason for the hit, the puck was 10 feet away and moving in the opposite direction.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=5657 ... -headlines

PS. Hear what the Classless Boston Bruin Fans are doing, whne the hurt player is coming off the ice???

First, why don't you ever make a point in your comments.

And I watched it a number of times.

They weren't near the puck, the Bruin player boarded a defenseless player and cause injury. And he could have pulled up at anytime but nope, he wanted to drill the guy.

And just like the Rome injury, a suspension is warranted or should all head hits get a 5 game suspension, or just with serious injury.
