Kurt Angle vs. Ric Flair
Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito
Chris Masters vs. Viscera
Shawn Michaels vs. Big Show
Triple H vs. Kane
These are the Elimination Chamber qualifiers taking place tonight. I'll go out on my limb and say...
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle vs. Carlito vs. Chris Masters vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H
Possibly something will happen in Hunter's match, that will cause Kane to move into the Chamber, and Hunter will have a third match with Flair? Who knows? Those are my guesses. The locks are Cena, Angle, and Masters (yeah, Viscera in the main-event... makes me laugh). Realistically, Big Show and Kane won't win and will probably defend the Tag titles on the show, so that leaves Shelton and Carlito. I'll go with the one that has a bigger push at the moment.

Backstage photos show...
[spoil]Dusty Rhodes. There's actually a picture of Dusty Rhodes at RAW in the Pre-RAW photos. A sign of things to come? If so, WWE is stupid. Kind of killed the surprise, even though it's been the rumor for ages. And by ages, I mean the past week.[/spoil]

I didn't care that Cena had a submission move, until they called it the STFU. And Cena acknowledged that part of the crowd boos him. I wonder if Vince authorized that, since when Coach did it on the announce team, Vince wasn't pleased.

So, anyone seriously peeved that they didn't tell us who the new General Manager is? I don't know if I want Dusty Rhodes as the GM. It doesn't really sound like a great idea. I liked Shane as GM more than Dusty.

Just when they start improving the tag team division, they do something like that. Since Batista can't even defend his own title, I hope this will lead to something significant.

Second Hell in a Cell of the year tomorrow night! I sure do like the theme of the PPV (apparently it's WWE-produced). They played it on RAW during the Orton/Taker recap thing from the Smackdown Rebound.

It's nice that the WWE went to Afghanistan and what-not, but man, those matches were SHORT. I think the Divas match was the longest match of the night!

It seems that, according to Christy herself on her website, that she was a budget cut for the WWE. But, another rumor going around is that she "acted inappropriately" with Triple H, and that she was overly happy to be travelling with Triple H and Batista. This would make sense if Hunter and Batista were on the same show, but they're not. Considering that they haven't appeared together since June 26th at Vengeance, and that she was just released (five months in the difference), I would take that the rumor is false. It wouldn't take five or so months for this information to come around, and besides, it would have been far more than five months for her to have said that. I'm more inclined to believe that she was a budget cut, even though I think there's a different reason that no one is mentioning.

She was hot. But I won't miss her much.
The Afghanistan show is nice for the soldiers, but man did it suck. And why was Shelton jobbing to Snitsky?

Yeah, it was a big letdown. I didn't watch the last two specials in Iraq (in 2003, and 2004), so I don't have much to compare to, but it seemed the show was about 30 minutes long, if you cut out the other stuff and left in just the matches. It may have been less, actually. The diva and Boot Camp matches lasted about 15 minutes combined I think, but the rest were pretty short.

When, last year? Shelton hasn't been getting much of a push since he won the IC title. His reign as champion was soured by lack of any solid opponents. After that, he's been a Heat guy. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone this coming year, and work in TNA.

Based on the amount of disappointment or harsh criticism I've read on this thread about the WWE and it's direction sucking, I think it's time for the WWE to bring back the Immortal HULK HOGAN for a ratings boost.. Like the guy or not, he does bring in the ratings and I do hope that Austin finds his smile and they go with AUSTIN vs HOGAN at Wrestlemania and HOGAN beats his ass, which I think he will..

Unless WWE has a trick up their sleeve, I doubt Austin will agree. To be honest, I doubt Hogan will agree. Apparently, rumor going around is that he wasn't happy with his paycheck for "Summerslam". Just a rumor, I guess, but I wouldn't be surprised.
While I enjoy seeing the Texas Rattlesnake myself, it's getting very tiresome seeing him "walk out" of the company about five or six times now. He did it before Wrestlemania 18, again in June 2002, again in March 2004, and again before Taboo Tuesday. At least four, and that's only counting anything after 2002, and also assuming that he only walked out once around Wrestlemania 18.

So, considering we got it slow until RAW on Monday (isn't Smackdown a Best-of this week?), I figured I'd ask a question. What are the biggest names that you see going to TNA? They can be currently employed by WWE or long gone from WWE.
I'll start with Goldberg. Considering the bad words he has for the WWE after his short stint with the company, I could easily see him showing up at TNA eventually for a brief run. Hey, he wrestles as good as Kevin Nash, so what's the problem? I can't imagine that TNA is too big for Goldberg, so if he takes a break from his minimal acting, he could go into TNA for a few months.

I see Benoit jumping ship and going to TNA. He's want a lighter schedule and supposedly won't get as big a deal as he has with WWE.
And Hogan sucks.

Poor Hogan. His reality show is coming back next month. I watched every episode, and I'm convinced that I died a little while watching it.
Benoit is a wild card. I could never imagine him leaving WWE, and going to TNA, but I guess weirder things have happened. It depends on the outcome of this US Title tournament.
I could definitely see Paul Heyman avoiding a new contract with WWE, and doing his part to put TNA on the map. He could have a significant on-air role on the show. He really hasn't done anything in 2005, besides ECW: One Night Stand, and I'm sure WWE could do it themselves. It'll suck, but they could do it if they decided to go with "ECW: One Night Stand 2" or something. Then again, without Heyman at the helm, how many ex-ECW guys would do it?

Why don't they just send Austin to TNA where he's probably be happier and the WWE would be happier without him if he's that big of a pain in the ass??? And what kind of paycheck was Hogan expecting???? I'm sure he got paid at LEAST $1,000,000 for his Awesome appearance right???

When you say you died a little while watching Hogan's reality show, was that in a good or bad way??? His daughter is hot for an 18 year old and I don't know about you, but I sort of sense an incestual sort of sexual tension the way her father goes on about her as well as the brother...

Becuase I'm sure TNA doesn't really want Austin and anyway Austin won't jump. His heart will always be with WWE.
