Quote:
Bob Marley: One Love is a 2024 American biographical musical drama film directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, who co-wrote the screenplay with Terence Winter, Frank E. Flowers, and Zach Baylin, from a story by Winter and Flowers. It is based on the life of reggae singer and songwriter Bob Marley, from his rise to fame in the mid-1970s up until his death in 1981. The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley, alongside Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, and James Norton as Chris Blackwell.

Bob Marley: One Love premiered at the Carib 5 in Kingston, Jamaica on January 23, 2024, and was released in the United States by Paramount Pictures on February 14, 2024. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised Ben-Adir's performance but criticized the film as a "typical biopic."

Bob Marley is a tv level biopic with pedestrian direction, script and acting. You’ll be checking your watch even though the film is just an hour 45.

As someone who didn't know much about Marley... I think this film barely made me know more. Was surprised how little music was in this and they didn't even show his performance at the end..? Like what

Overall not good tbh.

It wasn't memorable but I think its still better than that Whitney movie.

There were enough of his songs in here that it will appeal to those just looking for a fun two hours. I can see why WOM is good. Audiences get mostly what they expect in a pretty generic music pic.
