This isn't a creature feature. It's a sloth slasher!

Slotherhouse is a wild ride. There's real movie in here about college, social media, the chase for popularity and the drawbacks of exotic pets. It is filmed very professionally and the characters are all taking the main story seriously ... until the homicidal sloth reveals his true nature! It would be the exact same movie storywise if the sloth was a person. But its not a person, its a sloth ... and that makes it so much fun!

I liked Cocaine Bear a little more for the turns it took in the third act, but Slotherhouse was a solid 9/10 for me. For people who don't like ridiculous animal movies it won't be that high, but I'd say it is still worth a watch. Especially during spooky season.

Poor execution and direction of a good script that under good hands could have turned a surprise. It has all the elements to be good but the director have no vision and actors are bland.
