Gorgeous cinematography and strong performances across the board. This felt a lot like Carol to me. Ruth Negga in particular was stupendous. B+

This was incredible and Hall does a great job directing (even though I felt the script in middle could have been sharper). Incredible performances from the 4 leads but Ruth Negga in particular was amazing, I would be up for her win in supporting actress category. The end while quick hits really hard and I love the aerial shot with music that leaves an impact.

This fell kind of flat for me. I especially found the ending ineffective. It's decent but from the trailer I expected to love it. While the plot is intriguing I didn't feel they really did much with it. It's too slight. The performances are good though and I love the choice to shoot it in black and white.
