Has all the elements to do well but its too plastic and there is nothing new here to make it stand out. Jaden Smith is great in here but Cara is just not believable as person suffering from a disease much less dying and she brings no gravity to her role. The supporting cast are good specially CGJ but his story ends midway and then just resolves itself in the end because it had to. For a tearjerker it does not work and its not an effective romantic movie as well.

It was passable and I did think Jaden Smith gave a good performance but it's absolutely nothing new that hasn't been done better in other films of this sort. It is interesting how completely buried this film's release was, I only heard about it maybe 3 days before it dropped on Amazon with no promotion or fanfare. C
