I can respect this movie having such an ambitious concept and them going for it, but overall I thought it was a mess. The first two acts of this movie took itself pretty seriously IMO and I thought it was fairly well acted for the most part, especially the lead, but man once it gets to the third act they really turned up the campiness which some might get a lot of enjoyment out of, but it just didn't work for me and made this movie feel even more uneven tonally.

Vanessa Williams was fun in her role though and I wish she was in it more.

This was strange. The performances were good but the tone was all over the place and I don't feel it delivered on the message it was trying to send. C

Agreed with the tonal jumble though possibly without that this could have been a good B grade movie. I didn't love any of the performances and felt Vanessa Williams was miscast here.
