The performances are good and it's decent enough if insanely overlong. Somewhat forgettable though. B-

The movie is so busy in listing the journey of its titular character that it forgets to tell a compelling narrative which is a key for an overlong movie this is. The first third in India is pretty much there just to introduce the character's motivation but it does not do anything with it. The middle act is only concentrated in transitioning from Vikander to Moore and its not effective. The final third is concentrated in going from one rally to another without actually showing the character's strength. The only angle that worked for me was the father-daughter relationship which is only shown in flashbacks. Timothy Hutton was the standout for me even though the acting from Vikander and Moore is great, Middler and Monáe are wasted here.
