Really solid Irish crime drama right here. I've seen plenty of Irish horror films, but this was something else entirely and I found it very refreshing because of it. I loved how so much of it was set on Ireland's countryside, because this director definitely knows how to capture some truly beautiful and jaw dropping shots when it comes to the cinematography. The performances are equally impressive as well, especially Cosmo Jarvis and Barry Keoghan. Something about how raw, gritty sad and tense this movie got at times just really stood out to me and I can't wait to revisit it again one of these days.

A very strong gem of a film, great soundtrack and performances from the main actors. It feels real and honest and just shows that with the right dedication and focus it shouldn't be hard to make a great film with a, I imagine, relatively small budget. I didn't really fall in love with this, but it's close and it's so far one of my better films experiences this year.
