Superb film. Very short and it only has three credited "performers" (though I think it should really be just one, lol) but it is up there with the best in survival cinema. It shares company with All is Lost and Cast Away. Mads Mikkelsen is excellent. He goes through hell and gives it his all, and just when he's about to give up, fortune favours him...and we're all pleased it does. The storytelling here might be crticised for being too obvious, but I for one appreciated the visual clues and nods over having a character talk to themselves in order to get what's going on - even backstory could be made out, so props to the director here. The survival techniques and practices are adeptly captured too.
