Re: Table 19
About 30 minutes into the movie I was ready to completely hate this. Unlikable characters, unfunny dialogue, etc. It becomes less hard to watch for the second half and actually has a few nice moments, still not enough for it to be more than 'eh'.

Re: Table 19
I have to give it credit for at least three surprising turns I never would have guessed based on the trailer. But I also thought it looked like a more enjoyable movie from the trailer. It's an easy enough watch and not really bad, just thoroughly mediocre. Yet I also understand if someone does find it bad.

Re: Table 19
What was the third? The first two I'm guessing are Kendrick was pregnant and the crasher was the groom for the other wedding

Re: Table 19
Maybe those are it unless I count expecting him to actually be the love interest in the film. Oh and I also for some reason thought they all became friends and the things like them being outside in the woods were happening after the wedding. Didn't realize it was mostly all going to take place on the wedding day. I thought they went to a retreat or something . None of it really happened how I imagined it would.

Re: Table 19
Table 19 is a breakfastclubesque dramedy that really succeeds despite itself. The weakest part was Anna Kendrick ...and only because she is so great and so radiant that she feels out of place where a less known lead would have better sold the concept. The story is not perfect, yet has plenty of wonky charm. A low key offbeat entertainer. *B*

Re: Table 19
Yeah, this wasn't very good. It has some nice moments here and there but the tone of the film is all over the place and the casting is frankly weird. Anna Kendrick and June Squibb are solid. I found Stephen Merchant and Tony Revolori's characters absolutely insufferable and poorly written. C
