 Miracles from Heaven Miracles from Heaven Quote: Miracles from Heaven is a 2016 American Christian drama film directed by Patricia Riggen and written by Randy Brown. It is based on the memoir of the same name by Christy Beam, which recounts the story of her young daughter who had a near-death experience and was later cured from an incurable disease. The film stars Jennifer Garner, Kylie Rogers, Martin Henderson, John Carroll Lynch, Eugenio Derbez and Queen Latifah. Principal photography began in Atlanta, Georgia in July 2015. The film was released on March 16, 2016 by Columbia Pictures.

Re: Miracles from Heaven I can see why this got that rare A+. Its a movie that you can enjoy as a family movie even if you are not a religious person. The family aspects though manipulative makes you care for the characters. Garner does great job and convincingly portrays both believer and a non-believer well even when script does not give her much outside the corny stay-in-home-mom stuff. I was also amazed that these things really happened to the family. Not much to be done here by rest of the cast and certain scenes are cringe-worthy but if you allow the film it will surely make you cry in one of the scenes.
7/10 [A-]

A- starts at 8.5 for me, and a 7 would be at most a B

I still find it odd, you don't use 10, but do use A+.
And I would use C- too.
Your double digit number I can more relate to, but also there, I would use more overlap in grading.

Re: Miracles from Heaven I grew up with percentages so for me its a bit odd grading them. I think I will just stick to percentages/points instead of grading.
