Re: Max (2015) Kind of intense, in places, for a kids movie--i.e., people die via guns and explosions. A ten year old would probably throughly enjoy it but kinda boring for an adult.
A bit of a shmaltzy entry into the boy-and-his-dog genre. C grade, but maybe a B+ for a ten year old.
The guy that wrote Bloodsport wrote this.

Re: Max (2015) I went with my parents and brother to see it today and thought it was really good and touching. We all did. Delivers exactly what you'd expect but if you like a movie like this you'll enjoy it. If not you definitely won't. It's as simple as that. I love dogs so I'm kind of a sucker for this type of movie.
