It's a lot of fun like the trailers made it out to be. Johnson and Wayans continue to have great chemistry on screen and the film definitely doesn't hold back and has some definite R-rated moments. Nina Dobrev and Keegan-Michael Key are enjoyable in their small roles as is Rob Riggle. Andy Garcia is a bit ridiculous in the film but that is just more to do with the random casting. Overall, it's a great buddy comedy and I think it is going to be very successful in theaters as the crowd last night really got into it, moreso than I have seen in a comedy lately.

Let's Be Cops is perhaps the most aggravating movie of the summer for its criminal misuse of the talents of Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans, Jr. These two deserve lead roles in great comedies, and while they both do their damndest to wring laughs out of this one, the script is unfortunately rather bad. D+

This feels like a 2hr movie. So long and so predictable. They could have deducted a fuck or two and it would have been PG-13.

I feel like there is a good dark comedy in here. However, they try so hard to make these two sociopaths sympathetic and it makes the entire experience uncomfortable.

This was a lot of fun and much more entertaining that I expected it to be, I had a ton of fun watching it. There are points where it doesn't really know what kind of movie it wants to be and is never really hysterical but it's incredibly entertaining thanks to Damon Waynes Jr. and Jake Johnson's great chemistry and charming performances. It was by no means a perfect film but it was nice summer entertainment and I'm kind of shocked at the HORRIBLE reviews it received.

Stupid, childish humour. Not even funny. The two leads were Scary Movie-level, where their lack of comedic skills would go largely unnoticed, but here it's in full show just how bad they are. It's a shame that an interesting idea for a film was ruined by an awful script and even worse performers. I imagine Jonah Hill and Jason Segel would have nailed this.

It does have a few laughs and I thought the leads have good chemistry with one another, but mostly this is just uninspired and lame. Casting James D'Arcy as a badass insane criminal was a really really weird pick, though it works better than I would have expected. I barely recognized him in the role.
