Curse of Chucky is a 2013 horror film distributed by Universal Home Entertainment. It is the sixth installment in the Child's Play franchise. I was so looking forward to this but I'm sad to say that it was terrible. It was so dull, the kills were boring and the ending was flat out terrible.

3/10

It's a lot of fun. Too many endings but the tone is perfect and it's a great example of a reboot that doesn't just ignore everything that's come before.

It's my third favorite after BRIDE OF CHUCKY and CHILD'S PLAY.

I really liked it. Very good quality for a Direct-to-DVD release.

Don't forget to watch after the end credits. I did but looked it up on YouTube after.

7/10 ( B )

I enjoyed it too. Is it perfect ? no, but it's well made for a DTV release and the serious/darker tone is definitely the best direction to go in for this series IMO.

I will say though I would still put Childs Play, Child's Play 2 and even Bride Of Chucky over this because I grew up with those, but this is without a doubt much better than Part 3 or Seed.

What do you mean 'even BRIDE OF CHUCKY'? BRIDE is easily the best all-around film in the series.

Yep, that.

But seriously, too many endings. What is this, ROTK?

***1/2 out of *****

Solid entry, arguably the best of the series.

Also, Post credit scene = best one of the year, easily.
