It's hit and miss.
Hit: Coen Brothers script (though they could've written this in their sleep), Alan Rickman
Miss: Michael Hoffman (I think the Coen's themselves are the only one's who could properly handle this type of "Coen" film), and Cameron Diaz who does have hints of charm, but is mostly just irritating. With the right actress (Julianne Moore) it could of really worked.
It's somewhat fun, but mostly forgettable. Worth a rent probably.
