Re: He'arat Shulayim [Footnote]
This is an amazing movie. What a complex character study of human pride/ego, hubris, insecurities, generational damage, etc. Cedar's filmmaking craft and editing is exceptional. A work of a clear auteur and visionary. Helps make a tiny story that's made uber-intense, just like the prize or footnote is blown up to huge importance by its characters. Highly recommend this, think it belongs to the group of best foreign films in the last 10 years (with City of God, Lives of Others and Let the Right One In) and I found it better than A Separation
