Dick
DickQuote: Dick is a 1999 American comedy film directed by Andrew Fleming from a script he wrote with Sheryl Longin. It is a parody retelling the events of the Watergate scandal which ended the presidency of Richard ("Tricky Dick") Nixon and features several cast members from Saturday Night Live.
Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams star as Betsy and Arlene, two warm-hearted but not very bright 15-year-old girls and inseparable best friends who, through various twists and turns, become the legendary 'Deep Throat' figure partly responsible for bringing down the presidency of Richard Nixon. Dan Hedaya plays Nixon. His associates H. R. Haldeman, G. Gordon Liddy, John Dean, Henry Kissinger and secretary Rose Mary Woods are respectively played by Dave Foley, Harry Shearer, Jim Breuer, Saul Rubinek and Ana Gasteyer. Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein are played by Will Ferrell and Bruce McCulloch. Teri Garr appears as Arlene's mother.

The presidential dogwalkers Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams from "Dawson's Creek" uncover Watergate. Check my website, Patrick, I have a review online. The german title is "Ich liebe Dick"

LOL! That's hilarious
I haven't seen this movie for quite sometime, but I used to absolutely love it. I own it on video, so I really should watch it again. I remember renting it for the first time, it was either DICK or BOYS AND GIRLS, well I went with DICK. I wanted to see BOYS AND GIRLS so bad, and I still never saw it
8/10 (B+)

Dick is an enjoyable comedy farce that also had some nostalgia thrown in. My first introduction to who and what a president of the United States was, happened when "tricky Dick" resigned from the office in disgrace. Not exactly the best way for the office to have earned respect from my generation. Seeing those horrible fashions, the tv show, Love American Style, and those old fashioned TVs that had tuning dials because remotes were a thing of the future, really brought back some memories of a simpler time.
It was a fun movie, but the humor wasn't anything more than just light humor. The performances were all good, as welll.

Re: Dick
I'm watching this on TV right now. This movie is HILARIOUS. I still can't believe how underrated it is. It makes me wish Michelle Williams did more comedies - she's so funny in this.

Re: Dick
IT IS ON TV RIGHT NOW?! I am so pissed now because my cable isn't working and won't be fixed until Tuesday. What channel is it on? If it's on HBO or something I will at least be able to catch it at some point since they air shit 1000000 times a week.

Re: Dick
I seriously quote the McDonald's scene I mentioned above all the time. "Every lie...is another brick...in the pathway...to hell." This movie deserves such a better rep. I'd kill to see Dunst and Williams do a comedy together again.

Although at least that one has become a cult classic. People seem to have forgotten Dick entirely.
