Post Re: Zookeeper
It's got some laughs, but like with most of the Sandler produced comedies it feels half-assed, especially from the live actors. I like Joe Rogan and I like listening to him on podcasts, but I think he gives one of the worst comedic performances I've ever seen. It's clear that no thought went in to writing his character (like why he's chasing James' ex, who is also his ex, but we never know why they broke up in the first place so why does he have an interest in her...), but Rogan has enough talent to at have given a laugh or two. But no, everything he does comes across so painfully strained that whenever he's on screen the film comes to a screeching halt.

You know what? I just realized I'm dissecting Zookeeper. Does it come as a shock to anyone that I didn't like, let alone that I actually went to see it? I'm guessing you couldn't give a shit. And since I hardly give a shit, what's the point?

And that new Adam Sandler film looks like absolute shit. I'm usually on board to give something he does at least one try because I think he's/he can be funny, but holy shit. It's like he saw Norbit and got inspiration from that somehow.
