Re: When in Rome (2010)
What an absurd film. It looks like it was edited to shit, and its extremely predictable but there are some laughs and its not too much of a girl film. B-. Danny De Vito, Will Arnet, and Napoleon Dynomite (With a cameo by Pedro) are all pretty good.

Re: When in Rome (2010)
This was as cliched as they get with stupid jokes falling flat everywhere. Kirsten Bell still makes eye candy though that doesn't save the film. It's harmless and unlike Leap Year I actually finished watching it. It's certainly not like either of the two are any good but at least the fantastical element in Rome fed into suspension of disbelief better. From the get-go in Leap Year, the idiocy of the accents, characters, actions and story was just insulting. C+ and that means Leap Year gets degraded again to D or something of that sort.

Re: When in Rome (2010)
When in Rome is the typical cliche romantic comedy that relies on typical and unfunny jokes to get along. The fun Kristen Bell is wasted here and the funny supporting cast including Will Arnett and Danny DeVito just feel plain in their roles. The film is too predictable but the ending and a couple of bits in between keep it entertaining. In the end though, it's bad. *

Re: When in Rome (2010)
This was way better than I expected it to be! Not a miracle of filmmaking, but the leads were good and the supporting actors were fun, ending up with a pretty likeable ROM-COM.
4 out of 5.
