 The Marc Pease Experience The Marc Pease Experience Quote: The Marc Pease Experience is a 2009 comedy film directed by Todd Louiso and written by Louiso and Jacob Koskoff. Shot primarily in and around Wilmington and New Hanover County, North Carolina in early 2007, the film is centered around Marc Pease, a man living in the past, when he was the star of his high school's musicals. The film stars Jason Schwartzman as Pease, Ben Stiller as Pease's former mentor, and Anna Kendrick as his love interest.

Re: The Marc Pease Experience The Marc Pease is an interesting comedy. It's essentially two stories, one following Marc Pease (played by Jason Schwartzman) who hopes that his high school music teacher Jon Gribble (palyed by Ben) will produce his acappella group's album which he promised back when Marc was in high school. The other story is Jon on the opening night of The Wiz which is first time putting on the show since Marc ruined the show when he ran out while playing the Tin Man. Schwartzman had promise in this film but he ends up being a bit too annoyed and pissed off that you can never really root for him. Stiller on the other hand does a great job as the musical director hoping to get every single thing correct. When the two characters meet up the end, the ending is just a bit bland. It has laughs here and there but it could of been a lot better. **

Re: The Marc Pease Experience Should be surefire Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick has a key role in this film. She's entertaining in the role as well.

Re: The Marc Pease Experience I almost want to see it for her. I loved her in UP IN THE AIR. I was also very impressed with her in the film ROCKET SCIENCE.
