Elegy is a 2008 drama directed by Spanish director Isabel Coixet and based on a Philip Roth novel, The Dying Animal. The film is set in New York City, but was filmed in Vancouver.

A very good film! Penélope Cruz was incredibly beautiful here. I don't think she's ever been moreso. She also gives a better performance in this film than she did in her Oscar-winning turn in "Vicky Cristina Barcelona."
