Okay, I haven't seen this movie yet, but still, Owen Gleiberman of EW just lost all of my respect:

Not nearly as bad as Meet the Spartans but still pretty crappy. Had like 10 dance/musical sequences, which got old really quick. As for those complaining about Heath Ledger being spoofed, he isn't. The Joker in general isn't spoofed at all. Batman is but not The Joker.

Films spoofed include:

High School Musical (10 minute dance number in which a Jessica Simpson wannabe complains about Tony Romo and a Justin Timberlake clone dances while Kim Kardashian/Carmen Electra wrestle in lingerie for no apparent reason).

Batman, Iron Man, Hellboy, Hulk

Alvin and the Chipmunks - The chipmunks have rabies and proceed to eat Juno who won't stop quipping even as she's being eaten alive. Everything she says involves abbreviations and acronyms.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - The crystal skull (which Vanessa Minnillo keeps in her...well, you know) is causing the disasters to occur and Indy is played by Tony Cox from Bad Santa.

Speed Racer - They drive the Mach 5.5 at one point

Night at the Museum, 10,000 B.C. (the film starts in 10,001 B.C.), American Gladiators

Super Sweet 16 MTV show, Step Up 2 the Streets, Cloverfield, Flavor of Love TV show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Sex and the City, Enchanted (the princess is a meth addict who eats glass and lives in the sewer), Hannah Montana, Wanted, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, No Country for Old Men, The Love Guru (Guru Shitka), Superbad, Hancock, Kung Fu Panda, and many more.

They gave Epic Movie a B-, so this is a step down from him.

Also, they "parody" An Inconvenient Truth and Beowulf (the Beowulf character just keeps yelling "I am Beowulf!"). Jumper is parodied as well.

So with the exception of Cloverfield, there isn't a single Disaster film spoof?

Maybe Zucker should try one. His spoof of War of the Worlds was actually a consistently funny part of Scary Movie 4. These spoofers need to realize that if its funny, people will go. If its merely for cash, people will stop dipping into the well.

Airplane is the true Disaster movie, fuck this film.

They do spoof Cloverfield and I suppose the cow falling on Iron Man (as seen in the trailer) is a spoof of Twister.

How Joe said it, yes. It's probably atrocious in the movie though.

 Well, is there a twister involved in the scene? Even if there is, that's still a dated joke.

But I can only bet there isn't a twister, and the only real thinking involved in the scene was "That Iron Man sure looks cool. Let's drop a cow on him in our movie! Why? 'Cause we totally can!"

Yes, they do see a twister off in the distance, shortly before Kardashian is killed by an asteroid falling on her.

I poked my head into this theatre while my friend was going to the bathroom and all I say was the princess from Enchanted shooting Speed Racer about 40 times and then they saw Michael Jackon with a monkey and a little boy in the trunk of the Mach 5.5, which of course is as hilirarious as it sounds.

No, and so what? Too bad it's their only good spoof. BTW I've just seen Meet The Spartans, and it's officially my most hated film of all time. I'm just gonna watch Disaster Movie to see if it's worse, it's gonna be hard to top MTS. I am horever interested to see Cloverfield spoofed, but not by Friedberg / Seltzer, I'm sure they'll mess it up.

I just watched this movie with gulli. I'll let him write the actual review. I'll simply say this was in fact the worse movie I have ever seen and it doesn't deserve a grade since it's not an actual movie.

The End.

I feel like I've been raped, I saw the online links and like a foolish child at a pedophile convention I wandered in blindly. Oh how foolish I was!!

This "movie" is more painful then bowel surgery with a shovel, the most annoying point being the constant fucking singing!! Also the fact that the budget can't be 20M dollars it just can't, as Jim put it as we watched the Ironman custom looked like it had been bought in walmart.

Please excuse me I must now shoot myself for the terrible crime of letting this violate my eyes.......................oh and one more thing since this was a CAM we heard PEOPLE LAUGHING AT POINTS WTF WAS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!
