Ahhh, this is such a fun flick and quite rewatchable too. Made in the best tradition of Braindead (i.e. Dead Alive) it revolves around a zombie plague in Australia due to a meteor crashing in a small town. This movie mixes splatter horror with sci-fi (which I wish it didn't). The splatter and fun horror parts all succeed, while the sci-fi touch of the story feels a bit off and unusual. For all gorehounds (like me and some other horror nuts on this site), this will be a feast. Tons and tons of all kinds of gratuitous gore in this movie. It is not as brutal and violent as Brain Dead, though, but also a bit more fun than Shaun of the Dead. Highly recommendable to everyone who likes horror.

Dissapointing, indeed.

It's extremely gory, I'll tell you that much, but I didn't find it fun at all. It's actually the first horror-ish film in a while where I was flat out bored from beginning 'till the end, despite it being such a carnage-fest. It wasn't horrible, but meh, I expected mooooore.

UNDEAD - 6/10 (B-)

With such a low budget the effects are definitely cheesy, not to mention so is the dialogue (There are lame lines like "Crazy has definitely come to this town for a visit" that are delivered in such a way that makes them come off even cheesier than they already are). Some of the acting is pretty poor as well. But the movie doesn't take itself too seriously anyway so that does help. While it did have some moments that dragged, overall I found it to be a pretty entertaining horror-comedy. It could have been better with a bigger budget, but if you can accept the cheesiness and the bad effects then you might find this to be enjoyable.

WTF?!... The thing I hate the most, Horror/Comedies especially the foreign ones, hell I don't even know if it was a comedy and even if it was, it was very unfunny. What a very misleading trailer, I thought it was going to be a serious horror flick

The movie was like watching a shitty made for TV movie, bad FXs, incredibly stupid, the dialogue was horrible and the character were just annoying as hell! WOW!

Im not really sure what happened, was it alien invasion or a zombie attack?!...or both?!...I don't care anyways the movie is just hideous
