Brilliant movie, i loed it. The pacing was superb, now ive understood a few things, which now seem obvious I love it. Colin Farrell is superb in every film he is in, i am definately a fan of his now! I have to see Phone Booth NOW! Al Pacino was good but he didnt seem like he was acting some of the time, because he is a natural. Good plot, good cast, excellent finish.

It was fairly entertaining. At first I was disappointed because it was seeming to go into a predictable direction (I expected it all to be just another test), but at the end I was positively surprised. There is nothing really special about the film, but it can just keep the viewer intrigued throughout and the whole CIA training stuff is interesting anyway. I wish they had shown more of that. The pairing of Al Pacino and Colin Farrell is just great. The two play off each other well.

Poorly written and badly acted. Al pacino just mailed in his performance.

Re: The Recruit
Pacino's in pure paycheck mode, but Farrell is great as always and the twists, however obvious, are executed well. I like it a lot.
