D-Tox - A
After all the delays this film had, it finally got released and was i pleased? DAMN RIGHT I WAS!!!!!! Fucking amazing action and suspense with an eerie feel to it. I thought Sly acted superbly in it and i think that the story, while a cliche, came with an original aspect too.

Rented it two or three years ago. Don't know why. Absolutely average thriller that should have been made for TV. D

Another one in the series of bad recent Stallone flicks which is a shame since I actually appreciate him in his older stuff (even if for the campiness factor!) This movie lacked suspense for the most part, lacked in the action department and was quite predictable. It was still far better than Driven.

For a film that went DTV its everything I felt Mindhunters wanted to be.
It has a great cast made up of mostly B actors headlined by Stallone, and while its nothing arty, its entertaining. It has a good little setting of atmosphere and the deaths while mostly cutaways have a little bit of suspense to them. I would say if you've been a big fan of stallone you'll like him here though he's a little more serious playing a alcoholic cop. And I think it was a big mistake to be DTV, while I dont think it would be huge, I think it could have been a little 40 million earner or so. Theres plenty worst "Everyone is getting picked off one by one" films.
So I give it a solid B

A very mediocre Stallone effort, but still better than Driven.

Re: D-Tox
Good cast and atmosphere, the action and deaths are a little weak, but I found everything else to be solid. Missed opportunity as it was certainly a lot better than the similiar Mindhunters

I liked Mindhunters about 20 times more than this.
