Quote:
Under Siege is a 1992 action film directed by Andrew Davis and starring Steven Seagal as a former Navy SEAL who must stop a group of mercenaries, led by Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Busey, on a U.S. Navy battleship. It is Seagal's most successful film in critical and financial terms, including two Academy Award nominations.

Under Siege was followed by a 1995 sequel, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory.

Nine of the actors who appeared in the film (including Tommy Lee Jones) returned the following year for The Fugitive, also directed by Andrew Davis.

Pretty much Die Hard on a boat, with the large bellied one in the form of Seagal taking the place of Willis.

Tommy Lee Jones appears to have been fed to much sugar on set because he bounces around like a demented lunatic for the entire running time, and the main plot isn't anything to write home about but its a very enjoyable piece of fluff.

The microwave bomb seems very useful as well, I must try it someday.

I pretty much echo Gulli's thoughts. It is definitely Seagal's best (though that is truly not saying a lot). Entertaining, good action and Tommy Lee Jones is definitely way OTT. It is an above average actioner, though and better than most Die Hard knock-off's.
