I can't find my original review for it, but I agree with baumer72's assessment of "fucked up...and quite brilliant" -- that whole JFK assasination re-enactment and the nose and all that - Wow!

The director has since made two other movies that I really enjoyed and were under-rated: Taking Lives & Two for the Money, and I'm looking forward to his next movie, 2007's Disturbia...

When I used to be into the whole crystal meth/E scene, I actually knew one guy like the methhead in this film. He was manic and paranoid and very jittery. I never really experienced any of the violence, but I'm sure it was lurking rig ht around the corner. This film does a very very good job of showing you some of that world.
