Nominated for an Oscar last year, this film paints a portrait of the effects of sexual abuse like I've never seen before and with which, honestly, I've never been able to commiserate before. Some scenes are so devastating - one especially, involving Tony having to tell his 7-year old daughter what happened to him as a child - that I almost feel bad in 'grading' this film.

Nonetheless, it is still a crafted - extrememly well-crafted - documentary that hits pretty hard. And while I still don't think the film ever fully makes the connection between the perpetual anger Tony feels as an adult to the actual abuse, it comes close.
