What a random movie to bring up.

Great familly fun -- circa 1994 -- before PIXAR totally rendered all non CGI-animated familly entertainment obsolete. Some scenes were cringe-worthy though (like most Robin Williams movies). B+.

There was Jurassic Park
Then There Was Mrs. Doubtfire
Then there was the Fugitive

Definately a big suprise and was a great film to watch. I remember this was an Academy Award winner for makeup.
Best makeup job ever on film.

Very funny movie with a great performance by Williams. Introduced a new generation to the man who would be Bond as well.

Great movie. Somehow combined humor with emotion without things getting too corny or awkward. One of Robin Williams' best, where he actually shows off his acting talent as well as his comedic gift. He avoids going too over-the-top, and still gets the same amount of laughs. I'm not a very big fan of the ending though, the only reason this movie wouldn't get an A+. If Sally Field was going for the "mid-life crisis soccer mom that people love to hate," then she nailed the role. I couldn't stand her!

Overall Grade: A-

It's a great movie, but it's basically Tootsie meets Kramer vs. Kramer. That saying though, Williams' performance elevates the film from being melodramatic, into being a sincere film.
