It was written and directed by Robert Rodriguez, and is the second film in the Spy Kids film series, which began with 2001's Spy Kids. Really bad. Horrible acting....somehow....I mean, the kids weren't all that spectacular in the first one either, and they really didn't change much in this one....I can't explain it. I have to give props to the Danny Elfman song. That was great. Everything else was just bad. I never saw the third one because of this.

I liked it.... It's the first (and only) Sky Kids movie I've seen thus far, and I thought it was a fun little film.

It is not THAT bad and I can see why kids enjoyed it, but by itself it is a very mediocre film. The Ray Harryhausen references. The creatures are well-made, but the storyline is simply lame and the movie is way too childish once again.

I didn't like the first one. I really hated the third one. This was a nice little movie though. There's a genuine sense of wonder in here, something 99% of family films could really use.
