Entertaining, works as an action movie. Seann William Scott is good. Fight scenes are done well. Nothing special but not bad.

The consensus is right on this one. This is a good and entertaining flick, but nothing more. The Rock and Seann William Scott (who will remain Stifler for the rest of his life) have good chemistry and Christopher Walken plays the same character for the 20th time in his career and he still does it well. The story is quite stupid, but there is good situational comedy in this one and some decent action. I was actually slightly disappointed considering the many good reviews. I found Walking Tall to be a definitely superior movie.

What a fun movie! The story's not that bad. It's got a lot of comedy and the action scenes are great! I was truly surprised by this one.

I like it. Good story nice old school action; Cool cast and funny. The Rock is congenial as always. hope we will se more action-comedys with him in the future. He fits the part

The action after the first brawl was way too over the top for me, it was just too rediculous, How did they survive that car crash and fall down 10 miles of mountain?
With that being said, I loved Arnold's cameo and made me sad as well. The rock is all right, but I just dont see him ever going further. B-

Looking back on it, it's probably much worse than the B- I gave it. Maybe I was in a good mood that day.

I forgot about Arnie - at the time it was cool, it seemed like it was the passing of the torch to the new action hero. But the Rock plummeted after that (starting with the rest of The Rundown).
Now I'm in the Jason Statham camp - the one true action hero!!!

Re: The Rundown
Definitely The Rock's best movie.
