Top Ten non sports shows in viewers for the first new season week of 2005

1. CSI [28.9 Million]
2. Desperate Housewives [25.8 Million]
3. Without a Trace [23.8 Million]
4. Lost [21.6 Million]
5. Extreme Makeover : Home Edition [20 Million]
6. Everybody Loves Raymond [18.8 Million]
7. CSI Miami [18.3 Million]
8. Two and a Half Men [18.0 Million]^
9. Medium [16.0 Million]*
10. Alias [15.9 Million]

- Wonder how CSI will do in the ratings with it's part redo of splitting up the team - I didn't like the set up of tonight's show and some of the new characters. Though I like I new blond lady.

- I only watched half of Without a trace ( I was in the mood for a beer at 1030 ) and it still is such a great show - glad it is getting some nice numbers.

Great for CSI. It's still my favorite TV show after 5 years.

Ive got a feeling that "Alias" had better ratings for hour one, but no one seems to be willing to clarify how the ratings divide by average, so 15.9 million is the only figure we have.

Plus "Desperate Housewives" is fine, fine FINE television work. Best new show, although ive not seen "Lost" yet.
