Btw while I think Ben Wallace and his 20 mil a year deserves to be shit on... Pistons could've used some Ben Wallace here. How does Lebron even get close to the rim when everyone on the court knows he's taking every shot. Piss deserved to lose.

LeBron is an over-rated pretty boy.

You people need to get your heads checked

If you put Ben Wallace in there you'll get some extra defense, but you'd lose Webber's 20 points and 9-13 shooting. I think you forget that Wallace was a black hole of offense, and I believe the Pistons are better without him.

Although, I do feel - as the TNT crew has pointed out several times - that more focus should have been put on Lebron, especially when Gooden, Gibson, and Z went out... there was no other offensive threats on the floor... why not load up on Lebron? There were numerous bad coaching decisions on both sides.

Cleveland is playing insanely good and have a ton of confidence, and it looks like Detroit is running out of gas. I'd like to believe that Detroit will win game 6 and force a game 7, but I definitely won't bet the farm on it.

Tony.... Cleveland THE TEAM is not playing "Insanely Good", it's 1 on 5, theres no excuse for that, especially for a team that are supposedly title contenders.

Pistons got embarrassed beyond belief.

The more I watch this series, the more I believe these teams are evenly matched. At first I thought that the Pistons just weren't showing up, but after 5 games coming down to the last possession or two, you've got to believe that this isn't a matter of the Pistons just sleepwalking through a game. They actually looked good tonight and the stats back that up. Add in the fact that it was a close 7 game series last year and it's pretty clear that these teams are pretty close. Plus, remember that their records weren't that different in the regular season.

If Cleveland beats Detroit the real test will be SA, but Cleveland is undefeated against SA in the regular season so I believe it'll be a better series than some think.

Yeah, it seriously can't be said enough.

To those who say that Detroit was just being plain stupid, not double teaming LeBron after straight points, remember this: Detroit is the best team in the Eastern Conference. They're not stupid. First, LeBron was flying all over them - Webber, Wallace, Prince, Hamilton, and Billups. Second, no one expected LeBron to take the initiative like that. He makes amazing passes, and, had he been double-teamed, triple-teamed, quadruple-teamed, he would've found room. The Cavs make an open shot, or LeBron goes to the line. Leaving people open is never a good strategy.

Megatron: LeBron is one of the most emotional, yet humble players in the game. Listen to him in interviews before you talk. Unless you want to claim that the Pistons are horrible, there is no possible way you can call LeBron overrated. What he did was no cinch in the park.

And, if you want pretty boy? Look at Prince. He had nothing this game, except a clean, sweat-free face.

Evenly matched? More like Flip was too much of a dolt to realize 4 out of 5 players on the Cavs weren't playing in the game anymore. If they had any sort of gang-up strategy, there's no way Lebron would be able to take every single shot. That's escalated considering a lot of Cavs players were fouled out. 1 on 5 shouldn't be possible. After 15 straight points they should've taken on a new strategy or something.

And torri, it's one thing to not expect Bron bron's initiative. But it's another to see him score 15 straight and let him continue on doing it for another complete overtime. He wasn't missing.

If we were only talking about the 4th quarter and overtime of this game, you may have a point. But so far every game of this series it has NOT mattered how much James has scored, these teams have played dead even. In the first game when they kept the ball out of Lebrons hands, it was an evenly played game. In the first 3 quarters of this game when Lebron had less than 20, it was an even game.

It doesn't seem to matter. In this game Lebron was hitting every fade away even when he was double teamed... his confidence is sky high and he's just in that zone.

Doesn't matter, Shack. You're looking back now, but if you were the coach, in that game, what would you do? It's not like you'd expect the guy to just keep on going - that kinda thing NEVER happens. They weren't just letting him take easy shots. The Pistons wouldn't do that.

Also, it's important to remember that this series is far from over, so don't get too cocky you Cleveland fans. One win by Detroit and you're looking at a game 7 in Detroit.

Sheed was pissed because he thought he was fouled on that possession. Although, I thought it was a horrible decision by him to take a poor shot with that much time left on the shot clock. It gave Cleveland just long enough to get the game winning shot.

We are never cocky.

Cleveland is the "least lucky" sports city. Our hearts have been broken enough times that we don't expect outcomes as exciting as the FUCKING NBA FINALS!!!!

How does ONE game make him not over-rated?!

He'll become not over-rated when he wins the finals.

He might take that pile of shite team to the finals, thats an amazing accomplishment in my book.

How exactly is he overated? The only flaw in his game is his poor FT shooting. He's a great shooter, distributor, and rebounder. The guys all around game is aces especially for his age, I mean just think about it, he still has 13+ years left in the league and he's already a top 5 player.

He is only 22. When Jordan was at his age, he was scoring 63 but getting swept in the first round.

This is the most amazing playoff performance I've seen since Jordan's second retirement in 1998.

I fault Piston's strategy in the final position, but other than that, there wasn't much you could do. It's like Jordan averaging 40 some points against Suns in the 1993 final or Kobe scoring 81. When you're in a zone like that, man; I mean, those couple of maneuvers - behind the back dribble then rose up to shoot and the fade-away 3 - in the double overtime, my goodness.

No one could have stopped him last night. He was just in his zone. Now, in Game 6, there is no way, well I don't think, he can follow up with a better performance, so of course, people will begin to degrade him again. But about his performance, one of the greatest performances ever in playoff history, and in instant classic. 29 of the last 30 points? Not human...As his Nike Slogan is..."We are all Witnesses"

It should be interesting to see what happens the next game as I imagine both teams have to be running on fumes. Tayshaun and Lebron both played 50 minutes, and many of the others played 45 or more. I notice the defense gets worse and worse on both sides in every game... the point totals have gone up.

Whoever wins, I hope it's a blowout. A big stinky blowout. These close games are too tough to watch!

I love Rip's face the most

Lebron says "I give all the credit to my teammates"

Yeah, ok. Whatever you say.

If I were Flip Saunders, I'd send out Dale Davis early in game 6 and have him kick Lebron in the balls as hard as he can. Dale would never make it out of Cleveland alive, but we really don't need him.
