Spurs are gonna kick Pistons ass in the finals.
Tayshaun Prince shot 1-11 and McDyess 1-5... a combined 2-16. That balanced out James's 5-15.

No free throw attempt for Lebron, unacceptable. Need to attack, especially when your team is grabbing offensive rebound and not turning the ball over. And Clevand really needs to get a decent point guard; there has to be somebody out there who is better than the Larry Hughes/Eric Snow combo. It's just like the problem Rockets has.

Draft lottery is tonight...
I'm predicting something right now...
Kevin Durant is going to be one of the greatest players of all time, if not THE greatest... yeah, maybe better than Jordan

We have 2. And no big rebounder. But nobody watches Toronto and nobody knows who Calderon is besides us... So a worthy deal probably won't go down unless Ford is shipped. Which I would support, but doubt until at least next year.

I'm convinced I could play in the NBA and shoot better than Larry Hughes or Eric Snow. Heck, I'd do it for half of Hughes's salary (who makes twice as much as Billups).

If I were Chauncey Billups (6.8 million a year) I would be so pissed off that Hughes is getting a contract like that. On the other hand, I'd probably be too busy spending my 6.8 million per year for simply playing basketball to care that much.
On another subject, I just realized that all 4 teams left in the playoffs are defensive stud teams. Despite all the rule changing by the NBA to encourage more offense, we still have an all defensive final 4. I'm not sure teams like GS or Phoenix will ever win a championship no matter how hard the league tries to help them.

That's also a bad omen for Toronto's playoff future as a team fairly offensive minded...

Chauncey will get his money this upcoming season. Wondering just will Detroit will give it to him. There were some rumours about Memphis? Or was it Charlotte?
Anyway, when exactly is lottery? And is that broadcasted somewhere?

I hope this is the first and only time I'm nervously excited for the NBA lottery.

Does anyone else find the NBA's lottery just downright strange and sort of unfair to the teams that truly need help?
Anyway, go Blazers. I'll take a Roy/Durant/Randolph monster.

Oh it absolutely is. If the Celtics don't end up with the #1 or #2, they'll be stuck in mediocre land for quite some time. One Boston sports radio host referred to the Celtics without the #1 or #2 (Minus a trade for an All-Star) to be like the Washington Bullets.

Wow, two western teams got the top 2. The competitive balance has become even more one-sided. Poor Grizzles, they will probably lose 70 games next year.

Greatest lottery ever. Well, save for 1985.
But #1 and #2 are on west, Atlanta with #3 (thus preventing Phoenix to get even stronger) will again draft like shit, plus Chicago didn't move. And sugar at the end, Boston with #5.
I'm kinda feel sorry for Memphis though.

I'm officially looking forward to next season. I haven't been truly excited for a NBA season ever since the implosion during game 7 against the Lakers.
We could actually make the playoffs next year!
