Post Anyone know what happened to Jack and Bobby on the WB??
As plain as the thread title....

anyone have any clue what happened to Jack and Bobby?

It debuted on Sundays at 9, then moved to Wednesdays at 9. The last episode I believe was the first week of December...
After that, I haven't heard anything.
The WB has scheduled a new episode of some show I havent heard of in J&B's 9pm Wed. slot today and I believe they are airing a repeat of J&B Sunday, as usual... but what happened to the fresh ones... anyone know?

You can delete this thread as soon as someones posts something useful!

That show and One Tree Hill are both on winter hiatus. They should have new episodes by February. 7th Heaven, Everwood, The Mountain, Smallville, Charmed, and Gilmore Girls are currently all showing reruns.

Don't hold out a lot of hope for this show. I think it's barely managing one-third of Angel's ratings last year, which got axed by WB.

Jack & Bobby returns on January 26th, with an episode entitled: "Running Scared". I'd be surprised if we don't see the full 22 episode order fulfilled by the WB. They let The Mountain remain with ratings hovering around the 1.0 mark for the longest time, although I think since it's completed it's order I think it may be done.

A second season for Jack & Bobby is looking unlikely at this point considering both the overall ratings, the amount of 18-34 viewers and the small retention rate from Smallville. As a very large fan of the show I can only hope the fact that it seems to be The WB's most critically acclaimed show might warrant a second season.

Yeah, the show is struggling with ratings on Wednesday, just like it did on Sundays. They already picked it up for a second season, or so they had announced. Don't know what's happening with that now.

The only reason The Mountain was playing out was to end it. While every other showed ended after November sweeps, and started to play reruns, The Mountain kept on going. It's done all 13 episodes, and although it hasn't been announced by the WB whether it's the series or season finale, it's done for now. Steve Harvey's Big Time is taking its spot in 2 wks, and Summerland reruns are starting at the old Steve Harvey time I think b/c Summerland is coming in as a midseason replacement.

After the first episode, or perhaps it was the second The WB announced that they had picked up the show for the 2004-2005 season, 22 episodes. Nothing regarding the 2005-2006 season.

Oh, I must have misunderstood. Okay then :). Well, I wouldn't be surprised now if they didn't pick it up for a second season.
