Quote:
Jackass Number Two is a 2006 American comedy film. It is the sequel to Jackass: The Movie (2002), both based upon the MTV series Jackass. Like its predecessor and the original TV show, the film is a compilation of stunts, pranks and skits. The film stars the regular Jackass cast of Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, Dave England, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, Preston Lacy and Ehren McGhehey. Everyone depicted in the film plays as themselves. All nine main cast members from the first film returned for the sequel. The film was directed by Jeff Tremaine, who also directed Jackass: The Movie and produced Jackass.

The film was produced by Dickhouse Productions and MTV Films and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The film premiered in theatres on September 22, 2006. The DVD was later released on December 26, 2006. Jackass 2.5, a direct-to-video feature, was made available online on December 19, 2007 and on DVD on December 26, 2007. It contains most of the deleted and unused scenes that were originally shot for Jackass Number Two.

The film received positive reviews from critics, and was also a box office success, making nearly $85 million worldwide against a production budget of only $11.5 million.

well .. first film i've intentionally walked out on. not my taste i guess. 80% of the gags were funny but that 20% was just too .... over the line for me.

no grade .. can't really grade stuff like this. if you're cool with the things, you'll like it. if you're not, then most of the stuff that is ignored cause the rest ends up leaving a bad taste.

Well, did you see the first movie? Or any Jackass for that matter?

I just wanna know. Sounds like it was your first taste, and you didn't like it.

never seen it though i was well aware of it.

to be honest, most of the stuff in the film is very funny but as expected, there is that little bit that is either offensive to an individual person or just too wrong. and thats really what spoilt it for me and made me walk out. if those bis weren't there, i would have loved it. I know similar things happened in the first film too

Check spoiler to see what made me walk out

[spoil]Guy manually pierces his cheek with a large fish hook and then baits sharks
guy insets blood sucking leech in eye
guy shown shitting
guy freezes balls to ice status, you watch the hair ripping
guy drinks horse semen after making it ejaculate
guy rubs ass on people's faces
guy fights with anaconda, bitten all over.[/spoil]

like i said, not a fan. if you dont have problems, you'll enjoy.

I walked out of the first one when they drank urinecicles....but there is some very funny stuff in that one as well. I won't be seeing this one. The gross shit is way too much for me.

Sounds like they really stepped it up. If they did the same calibre of stunts as the first film, people would just accuse them of rehashing old stuff to make money. I say if you're going to make a Jackass sequel, this would be the way to do it. Can't wait to see it!

I loved the first one; especially the scene where that guy dresses up as a knight and rams into a convenient store.

I could barely breathe during certain skits, but after this I can't see how anyone could deny that it's all but a certainty that at least some of the Jackass guys muuust be gay. Horse semen? Shoving a beer bong up your ass and filling it up (and it most definitely all goes in). The big dance number at the end... Awkward. That's not a bad thing, it was just so much more then I expected. Loved that last stunt though, the film really does have more laugh out loud scenes then any movie I've seen all year - Borat included. A-

A clear A for being a film that gives fans what they want and for us knowing what to expect unlike some dopey critics who harp about it having no plot and other nonsense. It's just plain fun to laugh with others and the people on the screen when they are cracking up at their own pranks and stunts especially the facial hairs on the skit toward the end. I was in TEARs. Great fun movie.

Hehe all I'm saying is that 1. Dickhouse, their studio, now has a rainbow for it's symbol, and I remember John Waters talking about how Jackass was the most gay TV show of all time and he's got a cameo in there too.

I saw it today.

Okay, god help me, I found this to be better than the original, because I thought the stunts had more creativity. It was funny to see these people do this stuff, how brave of them. I like the documentry style they put into it, like the original. The only part I deemed unwatchable is the fish hook scene. It was a hilarious movie experience.

Hilarious. Of course it was.

I think I laughed hardest at the immediate failure (success?) of the fart helmet.

For this type of movie, all it is trying to do is make you laugh. And I don't think I've ever laughed harder in a movie theatre in my life, I could barely breathe through the whole movie. One of the funniest movies I've ever fucking seen, and one of my favorite movies of the year.

Awesome sequel. After the first few minutes, I was worried about the quality of the film, but it almost immediately steps it up and doesn't stop. I think I might have enjoyed the first film more, but for sheer creativity and originality, this gets an A. A+ for the originality, A- for the fun.

Here are some of my gripes about Number Two.

-I thought they spent too much time on the "Valentine" thing. It wasn't all that funny the first time, let alone the next five times. It also seemed staged. They were all smiling the whole time. There was so much great material seen in the end credits that could have taken up about a minute and a half of this Valentine stuff.

-The dance number was fine... but I wish they would have tried something big (and not staged) like in the first movie's DVD outtakes. I actually think that the big stunt at the end of the first movie (seen on the extras) should have actually been in the first movie. It didn't fail that badly.

I really did enjoy the movie, but it did feel a bit more professional than the rest of the series and the first movie. The amateur feel of the first movie is sorta absent from this movie. So, this movie blows the first film away in extreme stunts and originality, but I had more fun watching the first movie.
