This Leaderboard is fantastic. I'm a total fan of Donald and Woods and i like Weir, Garcia and Ogilvy. Tiger has still another gear left, he only birdies what he has to, if he gets on a roll the competition will only see his heels

Tigers winning... The last couple holes are tough, especially 18, so I don't expect him to finish with much more than -13, but that man in the lead is unstoppable.

He birdied 18 yesterday.

And yes, absolutely, if he holds the lead when this round is over, its game, set, match, thanks everybody for coming, we have some lovely parting gifts. The rest of the field better hope Donald can hold it together.

And amusing how this could also shape up as Woods/Weir in the final pair with Garcia chasing if Donald can't hold on.

So it's Donald and Woods at -14, Weir -12, Ogilvy -11.

Don't underestimate Donald, he won't make any mistakes. The decisive point will be how Tiger drives on the Par 5 holes. If he puts his ball in the fairway, he's unstoppable, but if drives will be shaky today, we have an open race

With all due respect to Mister Donald, this is over.

Tiger in this situation is the nearest thing there is to a mortal lock in sports. Maybe one day Tiger will blow a lead in a major, but there is no good reason to think this is the day. The only time I can ever remember him losing form late in a major was during the bizarre monsoon wind storm at Muirfield (which was a third round deal, btw. If you recall, he still shot 65 on Sunday after that 81). So unless we get some freak weather, I think we can figure he won't suddenly lose form now.

The other problem for Mr. Donald is the absolutely abysmal record his playing partners tend to have on Sundays when Tiger is looking to close the deal, especially when they've never been paired with him on a Sunday before. Mr. Donald may avoid this problem, DiMarco managed to, but this is also fairly well documented. Tiger draws crowds like no one else and it has been known to throw his partner's concentration.

That these facts are in the backs of players minds is pretty clear. This quote from Olgilvy was pretty telling: "We wanted Luke to hole that putt on the last because that brings us all back into it, because then he's [Woods] not leading."

I'm not saying there won't be drama. I could easily see this playing out like the Masters the year when everybody train wrecked trying to go low to catch him. The thing to remember is that while Medina has been yielding low scores this week, Sunday pin placements tend to be tougher than Saturday (which is meant to be moving day). OTOH, this could also play out like the 00 PGA, with Donald playing the role of May. I can't say I know how this will exactly play out, but I am certain the name on the trophy at the of the day will read "Woods".

Among the early pairs, the a couple at the turn at -5, so low scores might be there to be had. Although there are a bunch at over the turn no where close to that. Should make it interesting, at least.

Adam Scott is playing surprisingly well, he's on a much later hole than the rest of the pack, in the back nine now. If he can go into the clubhouse at like -15 or -16, who knows.

Tiger's killing them today again. Only Weir and Scott are not folding, but they are already too far back

That's a weird front 9 from Tiger though. -4 under is not the weird part. He par'd 7, which he had birdied the 3 previous days, and birdied 6 and 8 which he had only par'd previously.

Tiger Woods is the best athlete that has ever played any sport at any time. He's the most intimidating force, he's playing close to perfect whenever it counts and he can shift into the next gear when the motors of the competition are already close to exploding.

Tiger is the man. He is currently leading the Deutsche bank championship. This could be his fifth win in a row.
