Ohio State got lucky that game. The ND guys were too busy worrying about the National Championship next year to focus on the lowly Fiesta Bowl.

I wish I had the balls to pick North Texas over Texas in the opener. I have a feeling they might, but nope no balls to do it.

Wouldn't be surprised to see ND's title hopes go down the drain opening week, honestly.

Against Georgia Tech?

All you guys are underestimating ND and you'll be singing a different tune at the end of the season.

GT has a tendancy to play to their opponets level, whether it's down or up. That, and they're at home, and they have Calvin Johnson, who will likely destroy that ND secondary.

Zibikowski is gonna knock Johnson's head off on the first play. Our secondary is gonna be improved this year since we're bringing back mostly the same guys.

My point exactly. The same guys that were torched mercilessly all game long at the Fiesta Bowl. Your secondary is s-l-o-w.

Yeah but it's the secondary's second year with Minter's schemes so it should flow more easily now. Wooden was GREAT last year...up until he got burned by USC on 4th and 16 or whatever and totally lost his confidence for the rest of the year.

Okay, I've got the first weeks picks maped out. I'll post them sometime next week, unless you guys want them now.

Here's the thing... there are a lot of potential wild card games. So, I'm gonna set up a poll and let you guys pick which one we use. I'll probably do this every week.
