Interesting that after 100 pages of arguing, most of the people who said it would make under $200 million are now over and most of the big Superman supporters are closer to $250 million than before (except revolutions, but he doesn't count).

I'm just excited for the movie. Can't wait until 10:00.

And me.. I'm not budging on this and feel this movie will take a dive after 1 week when the audience finally realizes and question's how this movie could've gotten so many positive reviews for it's unoriginality..

Err... yeah, after one day. I didn't say X3 was a lock to beat Superman after opening weekend, though. And most people did think X3 had it after opening day, considering how massive it was.

You were still believing that Superman was a lock to make $90 million opening weekend and $250 million total, though.

Excel, tracking has it at $88 million for the 5-day, short of $90 million. Your point. ;)

This is almost final, but basically, I expect a run similar to War of the Worlds.

Wednesday: $24 million (NEW)
Thursday: $14.4 million (-40%)
Friday: $21.6 million (+50%)
Saturday: $23.3 million (+8%)
Sunday: $19.8 million (-15%)
Monday: $15.8 million (-20%)
Tuesday: $10.3 million (-35%)

3-Day: $64.7 million ($16,175 PTA)
5-Day: $103.1 million
7-Day: $129.2 million
Domestic Total: $237.1 million

Could you like lower that prediction by maybe 3 million..it wont hurt a bit but it will make that X-3 vs SR poll look better swince X-3s topping at 235

I made this prediction yesterday, by the way. I'll have a final, final prediction tomorrow, but I'm in the $220-240 million range, basically. I can't see less than $200 million or more than $250 million, like I've said for months.

reports say they are better at tracking ow then 5 days. meaning, their 70 million estimate is likely to be right, but the 18 million for wednesday thursday prediction is not gonna be, and itll probably total more then 88 million if they get 70 million ow.
