Who is your all time favorite sportsman/sportswoman?
Mine is Ayrton Senna the brazilian Formula One champion. I was only ten when he died but he was already my favorite. I remember seeing him die and crying for days.

Lance Armstrong. The only clean winner in the history of the Tour De France and such a nice gentleman. I love him

Totally agree. I will stop watching tennis altogether when Agassi retires.

I know - a big surprise!!
Well Its been known for a while now he has no team to go to net year in F1 so its no shock he is heading back to North America (which he loves), but surprising he chose to go NASCAR.
For F1 - some say its a bad sign. Sure F1 needs alot of changing - especially regarding the state of technology and aerodynamics which is prohibiting proper racing. But more than anything - this is big for NASCAR. Huge actually, and the brilliant marketing machine at NASCAR has taken full advantage of the situation already. It boosts NASCARS worldwide profile and image by taking a generally topline F1 driver into their ranks. He will also help attract hispanic fans and some F1 fans to NASCAR.
As for JPM himself, I have met him once in the F1 Paddock Club and he wasnt too happy to see me seeing I was wearing a Kimi hat But he did have talent to burn, but things just didnt work out for him in F1 as he wanted and he then started letting himself down with numerous mistakes and incidents - against a teammate (Kimi) who is a step above him.
I wish him well in NASCAR. It wont be easy, but it may re-ignite the fire he once had!
BTW Box - have you seen this - shows the side of Montoya that kind of hurt his career - but its hilarious (was back in 03):

I'd have to say....
. MJ
. Pete Sampras
. Brett Favre ( though with every passing year, it's really getting harder to put him in my top 3 )
