WOW!! I would've thought for sure he wouldnt leave Detroit for a 4m difference in pay. Probably more to it then that, might have something to do with the blowup from the playoffs. Sometimes people dont get when they have a good thing going and just want something new.

If the Bears win the Super Bowl I'll punch myself in the balls with brass knuckles on. If the Bulls win the Championship I'll run around my block naked. And if the White Sox win the World Series....if the Cubs win the World Series I'll kill myself.

it's a good pickup but man did they overpay. he'll be 32 before the season and is a horrendous free throw shooter. he still plays great defense but the bulls pretty much handcuffed themselves salary cap wise for a man who has absolutely no offensive game. still, they should be pretty damn scary next year.

HAHA DETROIT SUCKS. Cavs need to get a consistent point guard now, then the division will be interesting again .

Some new rumours say that he'll sign $60m 4-year deal. So, considerably larger contract than Detroit offered.
Bulls still don't have post scorer.

They don't need one they just need a big body in the middle to get rebounds and block shots. They have sharp shooters around the outside like Phoenix. Chandler is a stick figure I'm glad to see him go, hopefully the deal with the Hornets goes through PJ Brown is a big guy that can score.

While the Pistons will be hurting for the first couple years without Benedict Wallace, I do think it was better in the long run. Chicago will be saddled with paying him $15 million a year when he is 36 years old. Wallace's entire game is his energy and defensive intensity which is going to disappear with age, and he doesn't have any offense to fall back. He won't be worth that money in 3-4 years.
The Pistons should still have a reasonable shot at making the ECF next year - we still got 4 All Star caliber players in Chauncey, Rip, Sheed, and Tayshaun.
