who on the mavs can match up against shaq...not Dirk he'll get clowned like a little bitch..and Jason terry is nothin compared to D wade..i think the heat will sweep the mavs as long as Antoine walker doesn't touch the ball very often

I would've probably put all the money I got that atleast Spurs or Pistons would make the finals, dont know what happened to them in the post season, just werent the same teams.

Blah, I really thought the Suns would force a Game 7 tonight. I don't really like the Mavs, I don't know why but I can never like Dallas in any sport really. Stars, Cowboys, Mavs, ... I just don't.
The Heat should own them anyways.

Well, in the first game the Heat was without Shaq and the way they are currently playing they won't get owned by Dallas like they did in February. The Heat are a far better team in the play-offs than in the regular season, but so are the Mavs and our Dirk. I don't know why almost everyone in here predicts a sweep for either team. Everything shorter than 6 games would be a surprise to me. Here's hoping the Mavs will pull it off.

that's what i first thought Mavs would do but after last night come from behind road win i'm feeling they'll do it in five.
win the first two games at home (2-0) and lose game 3 in miami but then win both remaing games in Miami to win the championship. sure it be nice for them to come back to Dallas and win it in game 6 but the faster they do it the better.
thank y'all for hooking us up with Dirk btw.

It will be most exciting to see which lineup Avery Johnson will use. Josh, Jet and Dirk are set, but the other two positions are wide open. I am not sure if he really will use Dampier against Shaq. At least for game 1 I expect Diop and Adrian Griffin to fill the other two positions.

Well, he's the 2-time MVP of the league and plays for Phoenix. Maybe, considering both cities are in Texas.
By the way, for the finals I predict:
Heat in 5.

Tottenham Hot spur, big football team in England. Not San Antonio.

Yes! 1 down, 3 to go!!
The Heat are in real trouble, you won't get many off-nights by Nowitzki and Howard and still they lost by 10... Now it's Dallas' final to lose

I think the Heat can win tonight, if they play a bit smarter. Last game Shaq was being double-teamed every single possesion, and they still tried to pass to him constantly. Between turnovers, and fouling when he actually got the ball, he still got a handful of points, but it hurt them overall. They should have some gameplan where they get an open man from that transaction, easy baskets.
Also, foul shooting has to be stepped up. Worst in finals history, you've gotta improve that. It's mostly Shaq, but Wade was also off too.

They're playing the open men like I said they should, all of them suck too much to help though. Maybe they should just play Shaq every possesion, judging by how this game is going .

Miami fell apart in the 3rd . And they were looking so promising at half too.
Dallas is heading for the sweep now, with a 12 point lead it'll be 3-0 for sure. Christ. It's deserving I guess though.
